Cardstock Peony
With over ten years of paper flower designing, I love returning to the basics and using good ol’ cardstock. My tip for creating a lifelike flower is to add gentle, organic shapes with the curling tool and add a blended color for variation. Both of these help the cardstock blooms come to life.
For this project, we’ve selected from the Lia Griffith curated cardstock packs. However, we encourage you to utilize any cardstock you have readily available. You can find the full list of tools and materials below.
Here’s a handy list of the tools and materials we used in the video. You can either stock up on these goodies from our shop or use paper and materials from your craft stash. We want you to make use of what you have on hand. And hey, during the video, we’ll even throw in some alternative options to keep things fun and flexible.
This is such a simple and fun project to do!
Hit that play button, and let’s make some magic happen with paper!
Remember, you can watch the video as many times as you like and pause if you want to do a make-along.
