Inspired by our memories of Easter feasts past, we thought the humble carrot cake needed a little celebration. Though it’s been popular in the United States since the 20th century, carrot cake has been around since the Middle Ages! Carrots added sweetness to cakes back then since sugar was a rare and expensive treat. It’s amazing how something so simple and readily available could evolve into the yummy, spiced treat we know and love today!
These Carrot Cake Boxes are the perfect blend of playful and practical. Made with sturdy cardstock and embellished with our pearlescent paper for a shimmery carrot top, they’re guaranteed to add a playful touch to your Easter table or spring soiree. Plus, the lid pops right off, making them ideal for stashing away slices of cake (carrot, of course!), cookies, or any other sweet treat your heart desires.
When you’re finished, don’t be afraid to add your own creative flair. Sprinkle on some glitter for a touch of sparkle, or even personalize each box with a guest’s name for an extra special touch. No matter how you decorate them, we can’t wait to see your batch of adorable Carrot Cake boxes. Remember to share your creations with us in our crafters’ community or on Instagram using #MadeWithLia.

I’m having a lot of trouble with this SVG file. It sometimes says it’s too late. It makes everything with score lines. One time it grouped two different patterns together and would not let me ungroup them to use a 12x 12 sheet of card stock etc. I have deleted the SVG and reinstalled it but still no good. Thanks for your help.
I just had Krista check this file and this is what she said: The only issue I have with the file is that the shapes are moved around when uploaded to DesignSpace, but that is something I have not been able to fix for file prep since it’s a Cricut thing, it doesn’t affect how it cuts. Score lines are grouped with their matching component but everything is ungrouping fine for me.
Well I opened up my Mac and used it instead of my I pad which I use 99% of the time. It worked fine. Saved it to my projects and will have it for later if I want to make more. Thanks.
That is so odd. Keep us posted if it happens again. We are always working to keep our files tip-top for you.
