Thank you Lia for this information. I live in Egypt and it is extremely difficult to find wool blend or even 100% wool felt. The most common available is the synthetic blend. I found that if I just rub it a little together, it softens and works better and is not so stiff. I try to search for wool blend where I can find, and just use synthetic for colors that might not be available in the wool blends.
Thank you also for the tip of the heat transfer. I didn’t think of that before and it is a great way to add some lovely details to projects.
That is surprising that you are unable to find wool felt in your country. Hmmm. Great tip on making it softer. 🙂
This was very informative and helpful. I enjoyed learning.
Happy to hear you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the course! I found it very useful. Could you make a course about “how clean wool felt toys”?
We have a Skill Course on making felt stuffies. Krista does talk about cleaning the felt. https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/8-steps-to-create-any-felt-stuffie/
Please could I clarify if this is a full course? I can only find one video (Wool Blend Felt & More) but it says course completed
This is just one video to introduce you to felt. We do have a mini-course on making felt stuffies that you can check out. https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/8-steps-to-create-any-felt-stuffie/
I hope you do a master class series on felt. Love the felt flowers!
That is a great idea! I will have to coax Miss Kristen to come film that with me.
Thanks for the course 🙂
Of course!
