Absolutely love this rose! Am presently creating an arrangement as a gift bouquet for 2 actor friends for their upcoming opening night. I will include some of these roses within the arrangement (along with some peonies and parrot tulips already made). I think they will love it. Thanks so much for the detailed and beautiful tutorial. I absolutely love scouring your site and finding all the fabulous new projects to work on.
So happy to hear! Share photos in our community forum when you have finished. We would love to see the finished bouquets. 😉 https://crafters.liagriffith.com/
Did you update the video with the kit with the new instructions? My friend has the kit but is not a member. Thank you.
Yes! There is a URL on the back of the kits and we added the new videos and downloads there.
WOW! I’m so excited to finally handcraft your Roses. I created five burganey Roses, three large, one mediun, and a bud. I’ll need to invest in more Crepe Paper this coming month to create more of them. Lia, I really appreciate your expertize to help me create your beautiful flowers. Tim
These are my FAVORITE version of this rose. I am so happy you found it!
%FINISHED but not showing as completed, reading 75%. And no button to mark complete.
Hi Diana! This should be resolved now.
absolutely so much fun creating this rose !!!
So good to hear!
Hi Team! I found this rose after going back to review the master class that we just finished. I am in flower heaven!! Roses are my favorite and I have one in my garden that looks just like this!! Thank You!! Thank You!!
It’s so great to see what all the wonderful things there are to make…
Mary
I couldn’t get the course completion button to work either…
This is my favorite rose we have made so far. I am so happy to hear you are having such a good time and hope to see you at the Member Make live in a few weeks!
Fabulous tutorial. Finished just in time. One question…. I have marked all the classes as complete ( I think), but I am showing 75% completed.
What am I missing?? Thx so much!
Pattie
Congratulations!! Hope you come back and make more flowers. It might just be the pattern that is the other 25%. 🙂
I have the same issue. It says 3/4 steps completed. I have gone back through the class steps 3 times and have even downloaded everything but no change. I only have 3 steps listed under course content so I am not sure where the 4th step would be. I like to see the completed on a course so I know there is nothing else in the course to do. Thank you!
There is a button just above the comments box that says “mark complete”. That should do the trick. 😉
I’d like to to see the free tutorial- thanks
You have today to watch it! Just click on the video.
Looking forward to this
Enjoy! You have until end of the day to watch as a freebie!
Beautiful roses. Thanks for sharing!!!!!!
You are welcome!
I don’t have a cricut. But I do enjoy your content. Thank you for the beautiful ideas. I’m hoping once I finish getting my craft room remodeled that I have enough courage to make these flowers. They are too lovely not to make.
You can cut these petals by hand just as easily. Enjoy your new craft room and we hope to see you back here!
Einfach fantastisch! Vielen Dank!
You are welcome!
Beautiful roses! Thank you for sharing.
You are welcome!
Puedo usar tela con fliselina de doble cara???? Gracias!
I do not think that will work. This is for crepe paper.
These are so gorgeous. My cat thought they were real enough to try to eat.
I LOVE that story! 🙂
Beautiful projects
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure!
I love the double sided paper but have a lot of heavy crepe paper can I use heavy crepe paper in some of the double sided makes?
You certainly can use it, but it will not look as refined as the double-sided. The heavy crepe is perfect for peonies, sunflowers, and larger petaled flowers.
Thank you so much for offering this free course. It was exactly what I was looking for.
Enjoy!
I love roses so I especially love these. I have bought
Many of your patterns with paper and pattern’s with
Them. Your flowers are exquisite!
Thanks, Barbara!
Love your tutorial. Can I make this for profit? I grow cut flowers but I don’t have a lot of space. I would like to make these pretty crepe flower on the side or when I’m out of season.
We offer a resale license program for people who want to use our designs to sell. You can email hello@liagriffith.com to get more information about that program. So happy you enjoyed it! We have so many more flower designs you may like as well.
I’m really looking forward to making my first roses. Thanks for the free workshop!
You are so welcome!
Would love to watch this
It is free for you until Valentine’s Day!
This will be my first Rose. I love the double sided paper too.
It is so fun to work with. 🙂
So happy about this
Yay!
Sounds good
Thank you so much! I am so excited to learn.
So happy to hear!
Thank you for reminding me that I really need to practice making the rose blooms and buds.
Are you creating a new master class for us this year?
Yes, I am working on a biggie right now! If you have not tried this version of the rose yet, with the new template, you will love it.
Hope I haven’t missed this…
You haven’t missed anything! It is free to watch until Feb 14.
Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Thank you for the free workshop! Can’t wait to make them
You are so welcome! Enjoy.
Thank you for making this free, that’s so very kind of you. They do look hyper-realistic. I will enjoy this.

!was an absolutely wonderful class. I’m in love with my roses ! Thank you Lia and team.
YAY we love hearing this!!
Thanks for sharing. I love all of your classes!!
My husband tells me my grin has gotten bigger since I’ve started these classes!!!
I LOVE hearing that!! Enjoy this class. 😉
I thoroughly enjoyed making a total of 12 roses. And I learned a lot about crepe paper while making them. The video course is well designed and the downloadable materials are perfect. Thanks so much for offering these courses and making them compatible with the Cricut Maker!
Thank you for your feedback, it’s always so good to hear how our members are doing with these classes!
Beautiful roses thanks for the tutorial.
I’m glad you liked this, Carol!
Is the rose available as a kit???
Yes! All of these Maker Workshops have kits that you can purchase (but some other supplies are still needed). You can find the rose one here: https://feltpaperscissors.com/product/crepe-paper-rose-flower-kit/
Wow you make it look so easy. Maybe by the time I’m done with a dozen roses I will make it look easy too. My two left fingers are crossed. haha
It looks easy because of years of practice 🙂 Hang in there! You can create beautiful things, too.
Thanks so much! I can finally make a beautiful rose
Cheryl
You’re so welcome, Cheryl!
I can’t wait to learn more
More coming your way!
Yes to bouquet as hopefully get married in July 🤞so was going to do roses and calla lilies not sure what other fillers would go with them so looking forward to seeing what you come up with 🥰🥰🥰
I am getting some great ideas from all of you!
If everyone would like a bridal bouquet that is fine with me. At 72 I am looking forward to just arranging the flowers. The video is great and I can’t wait to get started. You make it look so easy. You just have a beautiful flow to your flower making…no rush, no panic.
Thanks for everything!
Thank you, Jean! We will always have something for everyone. The wedding series may be its own thing with other workshops for you to enjoy. 😉
Bouquet please! I love the calla too. This video just whetted my apatite for the master course in May.
Wonderful! I hope to see you there. 🙂
Thank you Lia. I’ve made a beautiful bunch of yellow roses for my best friend’s birthday💐
Sounds gorgeous! Share photos on our member Facebook page.
I would also go with the calla lily — it’s been my fav since you did the member make that used ModPodge. Although, it might be that the two flowers would “compete” for attention, since both are feature type flowers. Something more “filler” and less attention-grabbing might work better — maybe something vine-y? Of course, I also love tulips. Obviously, I can’t decide!
Since they are a different shape and the call is not a multi-petal, I think they would work well together. A tulip would also be lovely. AND. . . I love something hanging.
So I can see this — white roses and calla lilies — whatever color the bride would choose (why am I thinking bridal bouquet?) add in lightly with Pan Pastel at the base of the rose petals and down the throat of the calla lily.
But your florist background is coming out — saying that since a rose and calla are different shapes and the calla is not a multi-petal they would work together — and I would not have known that about arrangements. So when is the Master class on flower arranging, so we can learn from the master???
You so called it!! We just decided this morning that we are going to do a full Wedding Flower master class. It might not be for a few months but it is coming down the pipe!
Oh my goodness, what perfect timing! My best friend is getting married and wants all paper flowers!
That IS perfect timing!
I so wish I had known about Crepe Paper Flowers when I got married 11 years ago. Would definitely have made my bouquet instead of using real roses. If you do a bridal bouquet I see myself trying to replicate mine. Patterns for all the roses and leaves have been cut out. Now on to assembling. Think I will start with the leaves and then move on to the actual Roses and Buds. The tutorial was amazing. For those new cutting your crepe paper with the maker. I used Crepe Paper Setting for the Fine paper and used Denim Fabric setting for the Doublesided. Rotary Blade of course. My machine cut all petals and leaves without having to make any further adjustments but want to add a quick Disclaimer: All machines are not the same so please check your cuts before loading each mat to make sure you don’t need to make adjustments. Happy Cutting and Assembly.
Thanks for sharing your experience, Carlon! We find denim to work best as well and yes, test cuts are always a good idea. Can’t wait to see your photo on our FB page!
I would like an ordinary bouquet. Nothing fancy just something pretty to put on my dining room table for spring and summer.
Great! We are going to be doing that in workshop 4 where I teach you how to make a hand-tied bouquet. These will be arranged to pop into a vase. 🙂
Beautiful. My roses look just like Peace Roses and I’m thrilled about how they came out.
I am SO happy to hear this!
Yes please-bridal bouquet! Dahlia and ranunculus would look very nice.
It sounds like we have two votes for ranunculus! Love it!
Really beautiful! I can’t wait for my double sided crepe to arrive in the mail. I would love to see a bridal bouquet with these roses. I don’t know if they would work together, but I’ve always loved the natural cascading shape of a Cala lily. Thank you for the lovely lesson.
Those two are a gorgeous combination! I have made that bouquet back in my flower shop days. 😉
