Welcome to our third annual Creative Summit.
We just gathered in our Portland studio for the in-person event. The tables were full of crepe paper, the light was soft, and the room was full of joy. Now we are opening the door for you to join us from wherever you are.
Here you can follow along with the three video workshop, make along with Lia and Meagan, and rewatch at anytime. Each workshop includes the templates and photo tutorial downloads as well as the list of supplies for each project.

Hi Lia I’m working on the Pink tip Maple leaves atm . I noticed on your photo that some have got 7 leaf segments instead of 5 .. how and which segments were used to create the extra bits at the base of the leaf ? ( I have spare leaf parts as this is take 2 of making them .. wasn’t paying attention when gluing onto the stem and created a different leaf as I stacked the parts instead of gluing to the wire.. )
Hey there Liz! Yes, I initially thought I would have the extra bits on the bottom, but deleted them from the tutorial and template since the cutting machine has such difficulty with those tiny pieces. You can add some hand cut pieces (mine were handcut) if you like. They are very small similar to a small sepal. 🙂
Thank you so much for your reply 🙂
Yes I can understand totally why you didn’t add these small sections .. my machine would of definitely thrown a little tantrum .. will give them a try and hand cut the small sections xx
My second set did not have them. Only the first one that I photographed. 🙂
I’m out of the DS Green Tea & Cypress. If I make my own, will Cypress & Fern work or is the fern too bright?
Green Tea on that Double-Sided and Fern are the same color! You could use Extra-Fine Fern with either Extra-Fine Cypress or Juniper. I think that the Extra-Fine Juniper is a bit closer in color to the Cypress used on our Double-Sided Green Tea & Cypress. Confusing, I know!
My printed templates are much smaller than the ones shown on the screen. Am I doing something wrong in the printing process?
You will want to check your print settings and be sure you are printing at 100% scale.
When I hold the printed version up to the one on the screen, should the size match?
That completely depends on you screen ratio, so I would have to say no it most likely will not match the size on your screen. To be sure your printed template is the correct size you will want to make sure the size is set to 100% or “Actual Size” before printing.
Thank you so much for this beautiful flower workshops , super excited to make these from the Creative summit .. finger wipes at the ready for the pink magenta pan pastel ! 😀
Can’t wait to see your finished flowers!
I love this! It’s gorgeous. And it came at such a perfect time. I am making a Christmas present for my new sister in law, who loves flowers especially dahlia. Instead of trying to figure out a small arrangement to put together, you did it for me! One of the many reasons I love my craft circle membership!! Thank you!
We love a finished bouquet as a gift! Can’t wait to see your flowers, please share a photo to Crafters.
I’m so excited. Almost as good as being there! Thank you for offering this so quickly.
You are so welcome, Linda!
