Where can we watch the live re-plays? All I can find are the normal ones that you get with the flower tutorials.
Myself & 3 friends bought the whole bundle & plan to spend a day doing it.
That sounds wonderful! When you are logged into the site, this series will show you the modules in the right-hand menu. You can view all of the videos. Let me know if you have any other questions! I am here to help. π
How do I access templates. I am a member
The links to all of the projects are in the first module for this series. You can see the list of modules in the right-hand column.
Thank you Lia! That was an excellent video and the branch is gorgeous. Can’t wait to make one.
Thank you for joining us today! This is a fun one to make. Takes some time, but totally worth it!
I apologize for posting this in multiple places, but in the video there is a comment that a link was posted for the trays you use. can you post the link/
Yes! Here it is: https://amzn.to/4cy7CUU
I’m really disappointed with the camera work on this video. It seems that when Meagan was doing something that really needed to be seen, we only got a distant view. For example, adding the final petal to the bud and there were other areas that confused me because I couldn’t see what was being done.
I am sorry to hear this. We are running three cameras live, so sometimes things are not as predictable as we hope to know which camera to switch to. I am hoping that the photo tutorials help with the close-up details that you might need.
I have been following Lia since 2022 when my daughter asked for paper flowers for her wedding decor for the wedding and reception. About 150 flowers later we were ready for the big day! π
Thank you for teaching and sharing!
LOVE hearing this, Gwen! Did you share some photos in the community section? I hope to meet you in person someday. π
Hello … just checking in … the templates for the poppy have “peony” written on the petals … is that correct? thanks, G
Yes! And fixed. π
The arrangement at the end of the month has three poppies. But they are not all the same color. What colors did you use for the other two?
Yes! We will go over those colors tomorrow. π
Will the photo tutorial for the poppy be available before tomorrow?
Yes, we will post it right after the class.
I didn’t realize the classes were only live and not taped as most have been. I volunteer the first two Fridays of every month so I guess I will just make them on my own.
Hey there, Raquel! They are live each Friday, then you have full access to the replay anytime. You can find the replay in the project post itself or here in the Craft Academy. π
Thanks. I saw the note about paying 14.99 but glad that it’s free for me as a member.
Yes, sorry, that was misplaced on the page. Fixed. π
What do you recommend as far as cutting out the parts of the flower?
Do you mean how many flowers to cut?
I’m confused; it looked like I had to register. I did last week, so do I have to re-do it each week? I filled it out, but then it said “the form has expired”.
Also, I tried to watch the video tutorial last week, but it wouldn’t play. I reached out to Emily, but I haven’t been able to revisit it. We are closing on our house, so I’m caught up in that transaction!
Hi Judy. You should have full access to all of these videos. As a member, you also have the replays. And you do not need to register again. Be sure that you have clicked “start the series”, then when you are done with step 1 (templates), click “mark complete,” and it will take you to the next lesson, which is the tulip. Let me know if you need any additional help. Your feedback is important since we want to make this simple and streamlined. Congrats on the house! π
I was only able to watch the video as I don’t have my supplies yet. I am really looking forward to the other flowers as well. I have made Tulips before with the crepe paper & they turned out great. I feel these tulips are much better with the way the stamens are now done and the actual shading and shaping of the petals just brings the Tulip come to life. I love it. Thanks so much for sharing your time with us to learn how to make Spring come alive in these flowers.
Thank you for your message, Dorothy. We love hearing feedback, and yes, Meagan and I are always looking for ways to improve every single flower we design. We are on this journey with you. π
Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I’m looking forward to the other flowers.
See you Friday! π
Thank you! This was really fun! I made one “practice” flower, which turned out really nice. I’m going to try to make my own double sided paper from my fine crepe paper and see how that turns out. Looking forward to this series.
Wonderful! Share photos of your practice flower in the community page. (Link at the top of the page). π
I just made my test flower, and it came out pretty nicely! Can’t wait to receive the bundle I ordered so I can make them again. I used white eye shadow instead of pan pastel, and it seemed to be okay. The colored pencil was just not saturating enough.
Great! You are going to have so much fun with the new crepe. Clever idea with the eye shadow. Colored pencils work, but not all have the same consistency; some are harder, others softer. We love the Prismacolor Premier for crepe: https://www.dickblick.com/products/prismacolor-premier-colored-pencils/
I registered but never got an email or link so missed it π’
Oh no! We sent out a reminder, so maybe check your spam. We will be live every Friday at noon, so you can mark your calendar.
Hi! Just watched the live! What a beautiful tulip! Thanks so much . Can I find a replay somewhere? I made it to the petals and need to rewatch it to get all the details.
The replays will all be accessible in the membership portal. You can also access the printable tutorials and much more. π
The double sided lilac was sold out. I have Lilac extra fine what could I add to make my on double sided crepe paper?
Yes! We sent out an email this morning with the link to this video. I added it to the post too, but here is a quick link: https://liagriffith.com/tips-tricks-for-lamination-and-diy-double-sided-crepe-paper/
Bonjour Lia je souhaiterai télécharger les 4 modèles svg pour m avancer , il y a t il une possibilité?
Yes! The links in the first module will take you to each project so you can download everything, including the printable tutorial.
Also wondering if I just fuse lilac with lilac sine the double sided became out of stock after I ordered?
Yes! We sent an email out this morning with this suggestion and a link to this video for reference: https://liagriffith.com/tips-tricks-for-lamination-and-diy-double-sided-crepe-paper/
Hello, looking forward to tomorrow! I was wondering how many of each flower is the bouquet so I can cut the correct amount. Thank you!
In the photos, I used three tulips, three poppies, one apple blossom branch, and two ruscus branches. This is what I will use for the demonstration. π
Are these “Members Only” classes?
Anyone can join us and watch this live with us right here on this page for the hour we broadcast. The replays are part of our community.
Hello,
I am registered for this workshop and so excited to create some blooms to brighten our bleak weather in Michigan.
I uploaded images to Cricut design space to create the peony from last Friday crafternoon.
Will I be able to use my Cricut Maker 3 to cut the images for this series? If so, where will I find the link to do this?
Thank you,
DeeAnn Chaffee
Hello DeeAnn! So happy you’re here β and yes, your Cricut Maker 3 will work beautifully for these projects! πΈ The SVG cut files for all four workshops are included with a LiaGriffith.com membership, along with the printable photo tutorials. You can join here: https://liagriffith.com/ β and once you’re in, you’ll find everything right on the project pages. Can’t wait to see your blooms!
Hola! A que hora se realizarΓ‘? Yo estoy en Barcelona? Y que plataforma se usara? Gracias!
If I am doing the math right, it will be 9pm in Barcelona. You can tune in right here on this page. π See you then!
Is the current Tulip video the same method you will be doing Friday? Or are you doing a new video and method on Friday?
New flower, new method, and new video! It is sooooo pretty and layered. Meagan knocked it out of the park. π
Lia, I tried to save a spot for the Friday Workshops, and guess what? I was able to get in and download all the items. I am so happy to be able to make these beautiful flowers!
Wonderful!!! See you on Friday!
I donβt have pear heavy crepe, I have heavy vanilla and was thinking I could use bright yellow green panpastel to colour? Should I panpastel before or after I stretch the heavy crepe?
I also donβt have medium red panpastel would the pearlescent red work or would the red iron oxide tint be better?
I would add the color after stretching and do a light blend of the bright yellow-green. You can also just use the vanilla for a slightly lighter color. I think the Pearlescent Red is pretty close to the Medium Red.
Thank you, I had these questions too!
Hi Team Lia, I clicked on the bold flower name to attempt to download the info and nothing is happening. What should I be doing?
We are fixing these right now. Apologies! π
Cant wait!
This will be so fun to do together! π
Hi ladies!
Where can I please find the downloadable templates for the Lilac Love Tulip so that I can get them cut out? I’ve looked everywhere. Also, when will we be able to access the other files? Thank you!
Updating now! Our apologies!
Nevermind. I found them all in the monthly collection. I just thought they would be on this page. π
Smart girl, and my goof for forgetting. lol
I’m not seeing any links to click on.
Updating now.
When will the templates be unlocked? I’d love to cut today so I’m ready for Friday!
Fixing now.
Templates? It says there’s a link but I don’t see one yet. Or is this a cruel April Fool’s joke? π
Haha! Just for you, Christine! We are getting those links in ASAP! I am here in Idaho getting my dad’s house ready to sell so I was a bit distracted and forgot to add the links. Doh! Happy April!
Thanks. I see them now.
What a coincidence! We might be taking a trip to Boise for my father-in-law soon. Or maybe I’m just missing this great French patisserie we found there. π
Enjoy the patisserie! Sounds like I need to pop over to Boise.
I don’t see how to download the templates. There is nothing for me to click on to download them. Can you please point me in the right direction?
Our apologies, I forgot to add the links but Emily is updating right now.
Hi Lia,
I can’t download the templates.
Fixing the links, so sorry!
I can’t click on the links for the templates for the Spring Garden series. It’s just a list of the different flowers.
Sorry! We are updating those right now. My mistake. π
This bundle — I imagine the bouquet will not use up all of the material and I can use it to make multiple bouquets, yes? If I order right now I’m not sure it’ll arrive by Friday but I have other crepe paper I can use while I follow along!
Great! You will have extra crepe to keep working along with us. And, you have access to the videos to replay anytime!
I sure hope, that it will work this time., I have had a lot of technical problems joining your community
Oh dear! What issues are you seeing? Maybe I can ask our tech team to see if we can help troubleshoot.
Hermosas sus creaciones
Thank you!
Hi Lia and Meagan, it’s been a long while since I joined your projects, and so I’m excited for this one. Would you happen to have the list of materials by flower project? Some paper/PanPastel/marker colors are obvious, but not all are. I am hoping to pre-plan my alternatives/substitutes, then decide which ones to purchase.
Yes, you will be able to see each project and all of the details tomorrow when we release the April collection. We are so happy you will be joining us!
Thanks, Lia! I will check them out today.
Can I use felt instead of paper for these ?
These flowers are designed for crepe paper. We do have a very large library of beautiful felt flower projects. You can find them all in the project library under felt flowers.
Ok. Thanks.
Iβm looking forward to it!
See you there!
Love the fresh look of this bouquet! Hopefully I will be able to attend, if not I will definitely be completing this arrangement in the future! Thank You for all you do!
You can watch the replay! Once the live is complete, you will have access.
So excited to start!! The bouquet looks gorgeus π
See you there!
Just ordered what I need! Unfortunately will be working fridays but Iβll try to keep up and at least watch live!
I really like this to decorate my dining room table!
Replays are great for that. But we will miss you. π
Yay! π
See you there!
Excited to learn some new flowers. The bouquet looks beautiful!
So excited to do this series too!
What a lovely colorful flower arrangement. Due to my husband’s and my health issues, this past 18 months have been taken up with so many medical appointments that I have devoted very little time to crafts. Imagine my absolute glee when I checked my calendar for April and found every Friday was free!! I am so looking forward to attending this class. Thank you so much for offering this.
Oh Lynne! We are so happy you can join us. π
Can hardly . Wait to make beautiful flowers. π to create something different
Looking forward to having you here!
Iβm excited to finally be able to participate in a class series with you all!
Yay!! See you there! π
I would like to buy the bundle but I donβt need to floral wire. When I try to subtract items, they are not removed from the bundle. I keep getting a message that, since the 24 gauge wire is out of stock, I canβt load the bundle to my basket.
Yes! We are removing that from the list now until it arrives in the warehouse in a few days. It should work for you now.
Unfortunately itβs still there and not working. :(. Also, if Iβm ordering to split with a friend, do we need more than one pack of 15 mm balls? Canβt wait to do this series, especially with the new lilac double sided!
Try refreshing or opening and closing the shop. It is ready to order on our side. Great idea to split with a friend!
I’m excited to make all of these and end up with a bouquet when we’re done!
It is such a pop of spring!
Looking forwardβ¦.!
See you there!
I am currently a member do I need to pay extra for this class
Nope! All included. Just register here to receive email reminders and access the series. π
Canβt wait!!! Thank you for doing this!
I am looking forward to this upcoming month! See you there. π
