Why This Smoothie Is Your New Summer Obsession
This isn't just any smoothie—it's a thick, creamy, dessert-like experience that satisfies your sweet tooth while nourishing your body. The combination of frozen banana and ripe peaches creates a naturally sweet base, while coconut yogurt adds that rich, creamy texture you crave in ice cream.
What makes this recipe special:
- Dairy-free using plain, unsweetened coconut yogurt and plant milk
- Refined sugar-free sweetened only with raw honey and fruit
- Thick enough to eat with a spoon like soft-serve ice cream
- Customizable with optional superfoods and spices
- Ready in under 5 minutes
The Secret to Ice Cream-Like Texture
The magic happens with the frozen banana, which creates that signature creamy, thick consistency without any dairy. Combined with coconut yogurt and just the right amount of plant milk, you'll get a smoothie so thick you can serve it in a bowl with a spoon!
Ingredients That Make It Special
Base Recipe:
- 1 frozen banana (the creaminess hero)
- 1 ripe peach or 1 cup frozen peach slices
- 1/2 cup plain, unsweetened coconut yogurt
- 1/2 cup plant milk of choice (I like unsweetened coconut milk)
- 1 tablespoon raw local honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt (enhances all the flavors)
Optional Superfood Boosters:
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (omega-3s and fiber)
- 1 teaspoon pearl powder (collagen support)
- Pinch of cinnamon or cardamom (warming spices)
- Fresh mint leaves (cooling and refreshing)
- Extra ice for the ultimate chill factor
How to Make the Perfect Honey Peach Smoothie
- Add all ingredients to your high-speed blender
- Blend on high until silky smooth and creamy
- Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey or thickness with extra plant milk
- Pour into a chilled glass or bowl and enjoy immediately
Pro tip: For an extra-thick consistency, use less plant milk and serve in a bowl with your favorite toppings!

you recommend “Extra ice for the ultimate chill factor”- try this: ice cubes made of natural fruit juice (no additional sugar) or here: cocoa nut water or -milk taste much better than ice cubes made of water. Taste this for summer lemonades, ice tea etc.
Yes, yes, and yes!
too fast fingers: I meant coconut not cocoa nut 🙁
I like them both! lol
