Hello! Hope you all had a great holiday! And Happy New Year!
I have a question… I thought I saw a video on making this new freedom Belle
flower. Is there one on the website? Thanks Lehann
We have the photo tutorial for this flower. Stay tuned for some fun changes we are announcing in January! Based on this question, I think you will like it! 🙂
awesome thank you !!!!!!!!
You are so welcome!
Oh my these are so pretty. I have seen Camellias before but not this color. I looked them up and was surprised by the different colors. I have a neighbor who has yellow ones and she will bring me a couple when they bloom.. which should be shortly. Can’t wait to show her these.
These are even prettier in person! I am loving the rich red.
Good morning! I am completely new at paper flowers, patiently waiting for my supplies to arrive so I can give this a go! I do have a question though after reading through the steps. On steps 3 and 4, should the pollen and stamen pieces be stretched out to the same length? The pictures make it look like the pollen piece is much longer. I don’t understand how the pieces are glued with the two lengths. Thank you for your help!
Hello Erin! Welcome to crepe paper flower making. You are going to love it. For this step, you can trim off the excess after you stretch and glue. We have a wonderful master class for beginners too. This is in the Craft Academy. Here is a link to the “start here” to see if it is something you might enjoy. https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/tracks/start-here-crepe-paper-flowers/
In step 10 of the picture tutorial it states to keep the bright red side up. When shaping the petal. Which side is the bright red side? The darker red or the lighted red?
We see the lighter red as the bright red. 🙂
Love this! I appreciate the picture of the arrangement to show other flowers that go so nicely together.
Oh good! If you are a Craft Circle member, we also have the full “recipe card” for the monthly flowers. 🙂
