DIY Advent Calendar
Making your own DIY advent calendar doesn’t have to be a huge undertaking. With just a few printables and a little imagination you can create something that is perfectly unique and personal. Our DIY advent calendar download contains 25 printable number flags that you can use to create a beautiful calendar that’s full of personality, fun and excitement! We hung our pretty numbered flags from twine which we secured across an old thrift store picture frame with pins. We used tiny glassine baggies to hide dainty little gifts, treats and goodies for the family and pegged them to our twine with mini wooden clothespins. On the back of each numbered flag is a quote or phrase which is intended to encourage reflection, gratitude and mindfulness – perfect for this time of year! We are a little bit in love and we hope that you are too!

Where do I find the supply list? Where do I find the step by step instructions? I figured out how to download the pattern but the supply list or instructions.
We don’t include a supply list and instructions with every project, including this one. Most of our printables, like this, include details in the post itself– print on cardstock, cut, then fold 🙂

I really do adore homemade Advent Calendars – you can avoid chocolate or specific company products, and just fill it with whatever gives you small joy.
Thanks for your Creative version – it’s inspiring and I’ll be sharing it on my FB page to encourage more people to make their own.

I have a gold frame, I will have to work on this. My daughter would love it in her gold and silver themed holiday apartment! Thanks
