DIY Deer Felt Christmas Ornaments
Happy Friday! Our next felt stuffie is this absolutely adorable baby deer. We used a wool blend felt, and for this cutie, I chose Terracotta for the body, Black and White for details and the bow in Spruce.

Trying to get a head start on Christmas and saw these older felt patterns. Any chance you can make these SVG files? Also the Garden Gnome could be an ornament too!
The SVG has been added 🙂
my printer wants to re-size the pdf to 93%….is that accurate to print the patterns for these adorable critters? or should the print be at 100%
Hi Lisa! We recommend printing at 100%.
Hi Lia, I am not seeing the svg files to download. When will those be available? TIA. Rosa
Hi! We don’t have SVG files for our felt projects, only printable PDFs.
Hi Lia – I am new to your site and planning a woodland party for our daughter’s birthday party, she just loves bunnies and deer and your patterns are super cute. I am also looking to buy a craft cutting machine. I noticed your downloads are pdfs, do they work with the cricut explore as it seems they require other file types? Thank you for your feedback.
Hi Jo! I use the Cricut Explore for all of my cut crafts 😉 For each of those projects, there will be a PDF file and an SVG file available for download. The PDF is for those who are handcutting and the SVG is for those with a cutting machine. You should note that any of my crafts made out of felt or crepe paper will not have an SVG because the Cricut is not always the most accurate when cutting these materials (I always hand cut these materials). That is so cute that your daughter is requesting a woodland party! Luckily, I loove woodland animal themes, so I have lots of party supplies available 🙂 I have invitations and decorations galore in this theme, you can browse them all here: https://liagriffith.com/?s=woodland&post_type=post Enjoy!!
Hi! I am trying to download the deer felt pattern and it keeps telling me to log in. I subscribed and became a member but it keeps telling me to log in when I try to download it. Is there a glitch or can you post a different link for the pattern? I already bought all the materials to make the deer I just need to print out the pattern!
Thanks,
Make sure you are logged in when you are trying download the templates! If you are logged in, it should say My Craft Room in the top right corner and you shouldn’t have any troubles downloading 🙂

The bow is the perfect touch on this lovely little felt fawn, thank you Lia!
🙂
I really like all the felt animals but this little deer is my favorite. It’s so cute. I enjoy all your creations. Thanks for taking the time to share.
So good to hear. Thanks! 🙂
Love her! Thanks so much!!!
You are so welcome!
Thank you so very much for your cute little animals, I cant make any yet as I don’t have any money for felt. shut I don’t even have a Christmas tree yet, its just been a hard year with the cost of medication and oxygen but both are needed for me to live longer. But GOD will see us through as he always does. Thank you again, and GOD bless.
I hope they inspire you if nothing else. Have a lovely Christmas.
I love it!!!
Thanks Liesbeth!
