Become a MemberHappy Memorial Day for those in the US. I am actually taking the day off and popping down to Oregon wine country with friends for a nice drive and perhaps a few sips.
Today is a big BBQ day here in the US. Inspired by a love of entertaining and spending time with the people we love, today’s free printable is the perfect gift for those men who like their food and again, who like to BBQ. Our vintage style Ultimate Guide to Testing Your Meat’s Temperature poster is fun, super stylish and oh so functional! This little trick is one we found in the vintage archives and thought not only did it make great art, but it is worth a try. Our version of poster is 11″ x 17″ and so unless you happen to have a printer big enough I would suggest you pop down to your local office supplies store, like we did, to get your poster professionally printed and laminated. You can use the button at the end of the post to download your printable PDF. To finish the poster we simply sewed the laminated print onto a denim canvas that we purchased at Michaels with metal buttons on all four corners. Now it is ready to hang outside on my deck beside my new (and very first. . . because I was raised vegetarian) BBQ. Come on back over this next week for more projects, free printables and inspiration for a DIY Father’s Day. Hint. . . felt and leather. Enjoy! ~ Lia
