Fridge magnets can say a lot about a person—what your hobbies are, where you’ve traveled to, and what you’re interested in. While they’re fun to buy, they can also be a little pricey. So today we’re going to show you some DIY fridge magnets and how easy they are to make with Canon’s Magnetic Photo Paper. Along with the paper, we used our Canon printer for this project.

Create Custom Magnets

There are a couple ways to use this magnetic paper for your DIY fridge magnets. For starters, you can transform your favorite photos into magnets—just print, cut, and stick them directly onto your fridge. This is a fun and easy way to display photos of your friends, family, and memorable moments.

Or you can get creative with it and design your own magnets. For example, you could create magnetic letters for you and the rest of your household to play around with. Or you could turn your own illustrations (or your kids’ drawings) into magnets.

To help you get started, we created some fun DIY fridge magnets for you. And thanks to our friends at Canon, these designs are free! Just scroll to the bottom of the post to download them. Then print them onto Canon’s Magnetic Photo Paper and cut them accordingly to display on your fridge.

Another fun thing you can do is use Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint Editor software to personalize the pictures you plan on using for your DIY fridge magnets. It’s compatible with iOS, Android, and PC/Mac devices. So it’s super convenient to use if you want to edit and trim your photos or put them into unique layouts and designs.
