Love this project! I’m going to make them in many colors for my plant babies, Thank you for sharing!

What size is the pot you used in this tutorial?
It’s about 5″ tall and in diameter
Love it! I did a 2.5 inch pot and realize now I could have used three strands instead of four for a smaller planter. But I love how I can use of the ends of some colorful yarns!
Sounds just perfect!!
I love this! Thank you for this tutorial – so easy to follow!
I love this! But I want to note that six feet for each strand is not nearly enough if you want it to look like the one in the photo. When you thread the six feet into the ring and half it, it becomes only 3 feet. Judging from the photo, I’d say the rope must have started at 10 or twelve feet. Of course, you can adjust to your preference, but if you are expecting it to look like the photo, you will need to start with much more rope.
Hi Sara,
We did indeed use 6ft strands of rope for this project, of course you can always make your rope longer if you would like the plant to hang lower! 🙂
Well done. I was left a bunch of planters in need of TLC and this is more my style than anything else I have seen so far. Thank you!
