DIY Glittler Love Banner
A few months ago I was invited with nine other bloggers to be on the 12 Months of Martha craft bloggers team and this is month number one! I received my box of goodies last week and found myself giddy like a teenage girl. The box was full of so many Valentine craft paper, stickers and punches, more than I can use so stay tuned for my upcoming giveaway! I was immediately drawn to the 24 Vial Glitter Multipack and the first thought that popped in my head was OMBRÉ! I had been planning to remake the glittered love banner to share here and it seemed like a great idea to pair the original gold version with a pink and red ombré made from these gorgeous Martha Stewart colors. I enlisted my daughter to help me make these banners and heart for a fun crafternoon together. Once we finished, we put together a mini Valentine’s Day party featuring the glittered banners and hearts and using the adorable Love Notes Foiled Postage Seal Stickers as cupcake toppers. So cute, don’t you think? I have created a tutorial for these banners and have a printable pattern for both love signs and the hearts. These print on 11×17 light weight paper. I will give you one additional tip that is not in the tutorial which is. . . use a sheet of paper under the larger letters and the Glitter Tray and Rack for the hearts to catch and save your extra glitter. I must admit, the tray is genius. Glitter on! ~ Lia
