The template is designed to come together quickly and easily, whether you're hand-cutting with scissors or letting your cutting machine do the honors. Find the PDF or SVG download in the right column, trace or cut your Oscar shape from a sheet of glittery metallic card stock, and follow the simple slit-and-slot assembly to build a freestanding 3D statue that stands a proud 10.5 inches tall. No glue, no fuss — just a seriously glamorous little centerpiece that looks like you worked much harder than you did.
Line a few up along your table, use them as place cards, or send guests home with one as a party favor. Gold card stock is the natural choice, but silver, bronze, or even a bold black would look stunning too. The template is endlessly versatile — and endlessly giftable.
To round out your party, hop over to our post for free editable glittery gold invitations, and keep an eye out for Oscar party games including printable ballots and Oscar Bingo. Because the only thing better than watching the ceremony is turning it into a full event.
When your statues are assembled and the popcorn is popped, we'd love to see how your party turns out! Tag your photos with #MadeWithLia on Instagram.
Now go make something golden. 🏆

Back to the TopWhere do I find the PDF?
The downloads are all in the right column.
I am helping a friend make 50 of this fun Oscar cutout but she wants them to be 18″ to 24″ tall. I am trying to figure out how to make that work on my Cricut Explore Air. Is there anyway to get the image of one instead of 2. Trying to make it the size I want is not working because of having two side by side. I’m not sure if I am making sense? I’m excited to start this project.
Yes, you just need to hide one of the graphics after you have inserted the image on to your canvas in Design Space 🙂 Have fun!
Spectacular, and an Oscar goes to…… Lia Griffith and team! This is so incredible Lia. Will have to get some of that paper at Michaels. Hope they have ad with coupon from Sunday paper. My head is busy thinking of what else could use this statue for.
Even new projects on Sundays, wow, you all really deserve that Oscar for Achievement and down right wonderfulness. Thank you so very much for all you share.
Happy Sunday.
Thank you so much Jane!! I have found lots of fun uses for that glittery card stock 😉
Love it! I have used that same paper before, but had a hard time finding the right setting on my Cricut – what setting do you use?
Thanks!
I just use a heavy card stock for the glitter paper. It cuts like a dream.
Great, thank you!
