The coloring craze is in full swing – which we love. There are lots of wonderful coloring books that are perfect to pull out when you are traveling, enjoying a lunch break or whiling away a rainy afternoon. Our DIY marker pouch is the ideal way to store your favorite pencil crayons or markers, and it rolls up to fit in your purse so you can carry it with you too – hooray for that! Made using two contrasting colors of wool felt and a little blanket stitching, this DIY case can be whipped up in an afternoon. It also makes a great handmade gift for the creative colorer in your life.
Start by choosing your felt colors. We are fans of subtle, soft tones but like to pair those colors with a pop of something fresh. With the citrus season upon us, we opted for a vibrant lime green for the center of our marker pouch. It’s a good idea to use that same pop of color for your stitching and ribbon – simply divine!

Hi! Where can I buy the markers?
We love http://www.dickblick.com for Copic markers!
Hi!
I couldn’t fine the patterns for the marker pouch. How can I download it?
Thank you very much! <3
Hi there, we actually didn’t create a pattern for this project since it would just have been a rectangle 🙂 We wanted to leave it open so it can be created based on the size of your markers or brushes.
ok mam thanks. where did you buy the buttons?
We found our buttons at a local fabric and sewing supply store, though any button that is big enough should do!
Hi mam,
Where do you get the iron on vinyl? please tell me some shop names to buy? The one you made is just perfect and amazing.:-)
We have the Cricut brand iron-on lite, in Teal: https://shop.cricut.com/en_us/supplies/cutting-materials/iron-on/iron-on-lite.html 🙂
THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL
