Become a MemberToday sees us sharing a project that those with eagle eyes might have spotted back in our September 2nd post for jumbo coffee filter flowers….. the sweet DIY wedding cake topper in glitter gold which reads “Our Love Grows“. It is the ideal phrase to sit atop your gorgeous wedding cake and the glitter paper gives a dose of glam that’s just perfect for your big day. You can of course print and cut this DIY wedding cake topper onto card in any color – fancy hot pink to match the bridesmaids waist band? Go for it! There are papers and card stock available in any color or texture that you can think of so let your imagination blossom and create a cake topper that is perfect for your wedding day.
Below you will find the SVG file for those of you who have a cutting machine. I have also included a PDF for those of you who will be cutting this project by hand. Simply print the template, draw around it onto the back of your chosen paper or card then use a sharp craft knife to cut out the intricate design. Attach two wooden cocktail sticks to the back and your DIY wedding cake topper is ready to pop into your wedding cake. Simple! Head over to our Weddings category to find more inspiration for a gorgeous DIY Wedding – see you there! ~ Lia

Does the font already have the leaves and flowers attached? Thanks
Yes it does 🙂
May I ask What Font you used?
Asterism Bold 🙂
Hello Lia, what kind of paper or card do you recommend in order to make the cake topper really stiff?
We used a thick glitter cardstock from Michael’s, but you could also cut the topper twice and glue the two pieces together.
