Fairy Felt Flower Headband
Our DIY felt flower headband has made us all a little gooey this week – it’s just so darn cute! Using our felt poms and felt anemones we created the perfect headband for the little pixie in your life. To make our felt flower headband just pop over to our earlier posts for the pom tutorial and the anemone tutorial, you can get the templates for all the flowers by clicking on the download button below. All you will need to make these is some good quality felt, fabric scissors and a low temperature glue gun. Once you have made your pretty blooms you can set about attaching them to a length of elasticated ribbon.
Goodies You Can't Google
You've found a member-exclusive project. But for less than the price of a fancy coffee... You'll get instant access to this and over 2,000 other premium projects inside the Lia Griffith membership!
Become a MemberWe began by gluing our ribbon to a length of felt that was an inch wider than the ribbon. We then used our low temperature glue gun to stick the flowers in place as well as the green and glitter leaves (see the pom post for how to make those). Spend some time playing with the arrangement before you glue. There are no rules so just enjoy the process and only start gluing when you are happy with your design. Pop back to this post to see how we turned those same flower designs into a pretty felt fairy wand and check back tomorrow for details of the cute fairy costume that our little model is wearing.
We’d love to see your handiwork so if you make one of our designs please head over on our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and share your pics with us using the @liagriffith tag. See you there! ~Lia

all good no refund needed thanks
thank you
Just figured out that had I downloaded either the pom poms or the anemone flowers it would have only cost me two tokens ….. and I would have received tutorials to accompany my purchase. Plz add a note for others to avoid this situation if my understanding is correct.
I did not read all of your comments before responding. If you paid two for this project, we can refund you for sure! We have so many projects that these older ones have not been updated to align with the token system and we want you to get all the files for one project for the one token. Do email hello@liagriffith.com. I have sent Emily a note so she can assist you. 🙂
Hi
I just signed up for this project but have discovered that it counts as one class however I need 3 class tokens to access all of the patterns and the tutorials. For my one token, I only have 5 per month, I received a 1 page PDF of the flower templates but no tutorial.
Why wasn’t this explained before one signs up?
One download includes the complete project. This project is about eight years old, so it was not set up correctly for the monthly membership, however, have added the tutorials into the post so you can download them without any extra deduction of tokens. Thanks for pointing it out so we could correct it for you. If you see that it is making an error, you can email hello@liagriffith.com and we can credit you. For all of our new projects, we have them in one folder download. 😉
Do you have an svg format of this felt flower templates? I would like to make this pretty flower head bands for my daughter and few of her friends for their performance this coming holiday.
I just added the SVG file 🙂
Where do you suggest to buy the felt?
We like to order our felt from Benzie Design which has a great selection of felt colors.
I can’t get to the felt flower headband instructions. I belong to ur organization but it says u don’t recognize my email address
