Badgers are fascinating creatures with a long history of captivating hearts, particularly in English folklore. Known for their tenacity, badgers are expert diggers, often using their strong forelimbs to build extensive underground homes called setts. In fact, European badgers are some of the most skilled foragers in the animal kingdom, spending their evenings searching for tasty treats like earthworms and berries. Their distinctive black and white markings give them a signature look and help them recognize each other.

To create our Felt Badger, we chose our wool blend felt in Marble, Black, and White to give it a soft yet sturdy appearance. With a few stitches and some careful shaping with stuffing tools, you'll see your little badger come together piece by piece. And don't forget those adorable 6mm safety eyes to give your new Badger buddy a personality.

Once you've completed your Felt Badger, remember to introduce us to your new friend in our crafters' community or on Instagram using #MadeWithLia. Happy Crafting!
