Felt Ball Bunny Ornaments

Felt balls are an easy crafting material to make gorgeous Christmas decor, and today we’re showing you how to make adorable bunny ornaments with white pom poms. These cuties are great for a snowy Christmas decor concept, and the little pops of red yarn are a perfect festive touch. Download the printable instructions for a full list of materials that you will need for this project. We made two sizes of bunny ornaments with different sizes of white felt balls. The white felt that we used for the ears and feet was something we carry in our shop, and the fuzzier look was exactly what we needed for this project. Once you have your materials ready, you can start crafting your DIY ornaments!

Print our PDF template for the ears and feet in the downloads below. Then you can follow the photo tutorial below for a visual guide to making the bunny ornaments. Instead of using hot glue we used a felting needle to attach the ears and feet, which made the body look more fluid and cohesive. When you are sewing the seed bead eyes and nose, you will have to make sure that your sewing needle is thin enough to go through the beads. Finish them off with a little red scarf and these bunny ornaments really come to life! Leave these as is for a cute mantelpiece display, or attach baker’s twine or ribbon to the back to hang the bunnies on your tree. Pair these with our felted ball garland and clay snowflake ornaments for a glimmering white tree!
