Felt Ball Christmas Pillows
We love using our Cricut cutting machine to make a huge variety of projects, but we have not been using it as much recently as we have been so focused on crepe paper flowers and projects. Now we are bringing back our favorite machine to create Christmas projects that you can make for your holiday home decor! For this project we combined our love for iron-on and felt balls to make a set of adorable Christmas pillows.

Start by picking out the pillows you would like to use for this DIY. You can choose any color scheme or size, just make sure that the pillow covers are removable so that you can add the iron-on. Next, download our reindeer and snowflake designs for the Christmas pillows below. Choose your iron-on colors that you would like to match with your pillows – we went with a copper iron-on for the reindeer and a glittery white for the snowflake. Find the link for Cricut’s iron-on selection in Shop this Project! Once you have your materials ready, cut your designs into the iron-on.
When ironing the design onto the pillow cover, we recommend putting a cloth napkin in between so that the iron doesn’t touch the plastic directly. Hold down the iron firmly and then peel away the plastic when it’s ready. The finishing touch for these Christmas pillows are the felt balls. We used 2cm balls for the reindeer’s nose and center of the snowflake. For the ends of the snowflake we use 1.5cm balls. There you have it!
