Become a MemberWhether you're a beginner or leaning more towards intermediate, you'll love putting these Felt Bell Peppers together. For this design, we used the whip and ladder stitch to keep the pieces of our pepper together. If you need a refresher on those skills, check out our handy guide before you begin.
Though you can't eat them, these adorable peppers are still a feast for the senses! We designed these Felt Bell Peppers as a nod to the robust flavors of Latin America. They are the heart and soul of many popular regional dishes, as they add flavor, color, and a little sweetness to everything from salsas to fajitas. Yum!
Now, let's get cooking! Once your pepper is all stitched up, our recipe calls for stuffing. You can use a stuffing tool (or stray chopstick) to add Stuffie Puff to your Felt Bell peppers. This will help them hold their shape and give them structure. Lastly, gather the top and bottom of your pepper with a long stitch running down the middle to create the pepper's classic dimpled shape.
Once you're finished, pop them into a basket to add some color to your seasonal decor, or line them up on your dinner table as a unique centerpiece. Of course, no matter where you put them, we want to see your Felt Bell Peppers in all their colorful glory! So, be sure to share with us on Insta using the hashtag #MadeWithLia or, upload your pictures into our crafters' community.

I don’t know if anyone else has this problem, but since the downloads have been in zip form, I’ve had nothing but frustration getting access to the individual files. Previously, when they were individual PDF files, I had no issues. Can’t you list them as you used to for us not ‘tech savvy’ users?
I have been a big fan and subscriber for many years! But this issue makes me almost dread seeing a new project that I want to start 🙁
Hi Shelley. I am sorry to hear you are frustrated. We changed it to one folder that is zipped to make it easier for folks, so your feedback is important to us. When you click the download button the folder will automatically go into your “downloads” folder on your computer. I usually keep that open on my desktop for easy access. The zipped folder just needs a double-click to unzip. Then you can move that named project folder, with all of the files included, anywhere on your computer so you can access it at anytime. Let me know if these steps are helpful with your process. We really want to make it easy for everyone.
