Due to some tricky construction, we consider this Felt Green Frog an intermediate project. However, If you've dabbled in any of our other stuffie creations, you may find this project both enjoyable and rewarding ā no matter your skill level. We used a combination of sewing and glue to ensure the legs are perfectly shaped and securely attached, although some experience with felt construction will definitely come in handy.
Green frogs are known for their musical croaks which resonate through hazy summer evening. Now, you can listen to their beautiful serenade with your very own frog friend by your side. These adorable amphibians symbolize transformation and renewal ā fitting inspirations for your crafting journey this summer.
To mimic the emerald hue of our amphibian inspiration, we've chosen a gorgeous heathered green felt for our frog's base, giving him that authentically froggy look. Like the chirping symphony of a summer night ā the vibrant green blends seamlessly with the lush summer foliage, adding a touch of nature to your home decor.
We can't wait to see how your Felt Green Frog turns out, so gather your materials, settle into your favorite crafting spot, and bring this charming froggy fellow to life. I looooove it!
He is a cutie!!
So cute! Can’t wait to make up a frog!
Your namesake! š
Lia you still obviously still have a lot of felt to sell from your shop! What would an adult do with a felt frog anyway ? just saying!
Make it for a child? I understand if felt is not your jam. . . that is why we offer a variety of projects. You might be surprised at how many of our members love and make felt projects. There are other paper flower artists who focus only on the paper flowers. Have you checked them out yet?
This felt frog is so cute. I don’t like frogs, but I love this little felt frog. I am going to make him tomorrow. I have been making a lot of your felt stuffies. I have seen that I am getting better at making them. For the dragon I watched a video how to do the double back stitching. Today I made my second felt dragon and its better than the first one.
Making stuffies has become my personal past time too. lol. I love to hear you are enjoying making them. I feel hand sewing anything is a great skill. š
might be used as deco with your flower pots? put in on a stone or a piece of wood. Might be an inspiration to paint a suitable pepple (the body) or clay and stick the legs (cut out from strong cardstock or thin wood) on the body.
A green ballon with cardstock legs etc etc etc š
Ooohhh, you are so full of great ideas! Love you, Kerstin!!
