Emily and I teamed up to create these adorable bunnies, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Emily brought my design to life with the sweetest details. If you’re new to hand-sewing or just need a little refresher, check out our Felt Stuffies: 8 Easy Steps skills course. It’s packed with tips to perfect your stitching technique!
If you love the design of our Mini Floppy Bunny Dolls but want to try something a little different, these are very easy to customize. For instance, you can adjust the size of your bunnies — just enlarge the size of your template. But don’t let your creative flow stop there! Experiment with color, accessories, or even cute bunny clothing if you feel up to it. These bunnies are yours to design, so don’t be afraid to make them look like it.
Perfect for Easter
Easter is such a festive time, filled with colorful eggs, sweet treats, and the possibility of spotting an Easter Bunny or two. The bunny has actually been a symbol of Easter for centuries. Often linked to fertility and rebirth — perfect for spring — the tradition of Easter Bunnies is thought to have traveled to the U.S. by way of German immigrants and their folktales about egg-laying rabbits. And, of course, the Easter basket is another fun tradition of the holiday. I love filling them with homemade treats and surprises.
Once your Mini Floppy Bunny Dolls are finished, tuck them into Easter baskets for a personal touch.
But don't forget to snap a picture of your mini bunnies and share it on Instagram using the hashtag #MadeWithLia. Or, join our crafting community to share your work and get inspired by others. Hoppy crafting!

Step 9 on the Photo Tutorial is in gibberih LOL. What is it supposed to say? My husband is still laughing at me for trying to pronounce it hahaha! Honestly, I think I can figure it out but I wanted to let you know.
Oh gosh! Ive updated the tutorial, it should be good now!
Do you know if you’ll be able to eventually restock the cotton 1 cm wool balls? I understand if you don’t know!
I ordered the Glaciart, but am trying to match size and color for the embroidered Christmas hoops (making more), and their 1 cm is noticeably smaller than yours, with 1.5 being too big. Just hoping you’ll be able to restock sometime so I can get them through you.
Hi Heidi! We are just putting our order in, but it might take a few months since they are from NZ.
