VIDEO: Gingerbread House Doormat
Sweet greetings
One simple way to get your home ready for the holidays is with a wreath on your front door. But another fun and easy idea is to switch out your regular doormat for something a little more festive and cheerful. To help you with this, Meagan designed a gingerbread house doormat that you can make in no time at all with a cutting machine and our SVG file.
Just gather the tools and materials below, then watch our video tutorial to see how easy it is to make!

Become a MemberThis gingerbread house doormat is such a sweet way to welcome anyone who comes to your front door. Because the design is so detailed, we recommend using a cutting machine. Once your pieces are cut, simply place them on your door mat with your adhesive dot roller to create a template that you will spray paint.

Mine came out very light. How do you get the dark white? I sprayed until the paper was saturated, but it is only light white color.
Spray a couple of coats if needed, and be sure to spray from all angles to get the paint down into the bristles of the doormat.
