Glitter Paper Star Headband
If you are looking for a simple way to dress up for New Year’s Eve this year we have the perfect solution. Our DIY glitter paper star headband is simple to create but makes a big impression. Made using a silver glitter headband as a base, we added a variety of 3D and flat stars in glitter papers. To create the 3D stars we scored the shapes once they had been cut out and then folded them along the lines so that they pop up slightly in the middle. We also glued smaller stars to 2″ lengths of wire and arranged them in such a way that they almost look like pretty shooting stars!

If you want to make this paper star headband by hand, then print the PDF and cut out the templates. Use these templates to cut the shapes into your chosen glitter papers and score along the stars as shown below. To assemble this headband we would recommend using a low temperature glue gun. Start by attaching the flat stars and the “shooting stars” then build the piece by adding the 3D stars on top. There are no hard and fast rules as to how you arrange the stars – be creative, play around with placement before you glue them down and have fun!
