Become a MemberWe are all about gold this Holiday season. A rich, shimmering gold is the perfect accent color for your Holiday season decor and when we found this gorgeous metallic gold paper at Paper Papers, we could not wait to make it into something wonderful. Our DIY gold mini rose wall art makes a delightful hostess gift, Holiday gift or a great piece for hanging on the wall of your home if you are in need of a little art upgrade! The printable PDF below gives you the paper rose pattern you need to make the mini paper roses. Simply click on the link and print at home. If you have a cutting machine, we have also included this pattern as an SVG file below. Once you have all your pieces cut, you can follow our step-by-step video tutorial to make the pretty paper blooms. My number one tip for creating a truly beautiful paper flower would be to gently curl the petals with your scissors before you assemble the rose. Once all the petals are curled, I like to use a low temperature glue gun to attached the petals to one another – they make paper crafting so much easier! We used a simple white box frame from Ikea to frame our 9 paper roses in a grid – if you want to do the same, you can shop this project below. Use your glue gun once again to attach the roses to the back of the frame and you are all set!

I love making all your flowers!

So happy to hear that! I LOVE making the templates for you. 🙂
Exactly what kind of metallic paper do you need?
This is what we used: https://www.paperpapers.com/pps-pure-gold-shimmer-metallic-paper-85×11-81text-25-pk.html
Hi!
I am making these flowers as part of centerpieces for my wedding in November. Do you know of a product to spray on paper flowers to help them keep their shape?
Hi Jessica! We haven’t discovered a sealant, but would recommend keeping the flowers in a cool, dry place. Keeping them away from blowing air and humidity should help the paper stay in good condition!
Hi Lia
I wanted to let you know how I decorated my bedroom using this design.
I created 1 in gold and 2 each using metallic silver and pewter paper, lots of flowers! I framed it in hung up 5 frames above my king sized tufted linen bed. It gave it a beautiful designer look. Wish I can upload a picture for you to see. I call it my “bed of roses”
Sounds beautiful! You can email us a photo to hello@liagriffith.com, we’d love to see 🙂
