Halloween Costume Party Invitations

Halloween is a very popular holiday amongst the little ones, and I certainly know why. Costumes and candy? Who can resist! If you are looking to host a classic Halloween celebration, I always suggest a costume party. This is the only opportunity of the year to dress as your favorite characters for the day, so why not take advantage? If you need even more encouragement, we designed two versions of these costume party invitations to help you through the party planning process.
Both costume party invitations feature an orange color scheme to embrace the holiday spirit. They also feature adorable witch hats, bats, ghosts and cat mask illustrations courtesy of our “Queen of Cute” designer Krista. Birthdays that fall near holidays are often overlooked, so we decided to specifically design a version that could be used for a costume party birthday celebration! Of course, there is also a standard Halloween costume party invitation as well depending on your preference. To use these invites, start by downloading the PDF and installing the free font Savu Condensed. Once you edit the costume party invitations, use your desktop printer to print onto 8.5 x 11 white cardstock. I used our PIXMA iP8720 Crafting Printer by Canon, which has especially strong black ink cartridges that are perfect for Halloween printables. This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Canon. All opinions are 100% mine.
After printing your invitations, head to your local stationery store to pick out some complementary A7 size envelopes. Once you pick those out, you can add our candy corn patterned envelope liners! Print this design onto regular copy paper and glue it to the inside of your envelopes. Now you are ready to mail out your costume party invitations. If you are looking for cute Halloween party favors that you can hand out at the party, I would suggest filling our papercut bat treat boxes with some of your kids’ favorites goodies. Hello Lia,
this is such a beautiful Invitation, but is it possible for me to change the hole Text ?
I live in Germany and want to translate it in german !
Greetings
The “Costume Party” part of the text cannot be changed, as it is part of the illustration.
This is perfect for us – thank you. However, I want to make the RSVP to my email but it doesn’t fit. Am I able to change the font size, Lia?
This is one of the unfortunate parts about making editable PDFs: you can’t change the font in any way! We just adjusted the download and made the font a bit smaller, hope that helps!
Lia, that works a treat! Oooh, was that an unintended pun? Many thanks for doing this. I’ve been wanting to have a Halloween party for a couple of years. We’re not ‘into’ Halloween much here in NZ but I think it’s catching on and I’ve found heaps of items available now in some of our shops. My husband wants a party for his 60th so when I saw this invitation, well, as I said, it’s perfect for us. 🙂
Cheers!
That’s great!! I’m so glad 🙂
