The Perfect Ribbed Top

We love creating iron-on designs because they make everyday items more unique. While you could also cut your shirt to create a ribbed look, we think using a glittery iron-on to make your own DIY skeleton top is a lot more fun.

We used a black glitter iron-on for our DIY skeleton top, but you can use whatever color you like best. Silver glitter would be another good one. Or you could try orange, black gold, or even pink glitter! It might also be fun to get together with your friends and make skeleton tops in different colors for everyone. We would love to see your skeleton outfits when they’re ready, so please share them on Instagram and make sure to use the hashtag #MadeWithLia.

To make this DIY skeleton top, all you need are a few tools and materials. Making this top is easy peasy, especially if you’ve transferred iron-on designs before. If you have any questions, just comment below!

Instructions

If you’re using a cutting machine, download the SVG file below. If you’re cutting this pattern by hand, download the printable PDF. After cutting, weed out the design and place it on your top. Cover the design with your press cloth. Then use your iron to transfer the design onto your top. Make sure to follow the application instructions on your glitter iron-on packaging.
