We are enjoying a daily mid-afternoon winter warmer here at Lia Griffith HQ. Yes, it’s already October and the stores are full of glorious pumpkin spiced lattes and creamy hot cocoas – how can we resist?! Today we are sharing our hand-stitched felt coffee sleeve patterns. Perfect for wrapping around to-go cups and keeping chilly fingers from getting too hot!
Today’s pattern includes three different designs for you to make. The monogrammed oak leaf design, the woodland mushroom and our Fall acorn. Print the pattern onto regular printer paper, cut out the templates to transfer onto your felt. Cut out the felt pieces and use a low temperature hot glue gun or double sided iron-on fusing to attach them to the felt wrap. Use a blanket stitch to decorate the edge of the wrap and secure it at the back, then use a simple running stitch to add detail to the leaves and acorn. Perfect!

I love this project! Any chance we can get an svg? I hate cutting small pieces by hand
We will add the SVG for this project next week. Stay tuned!
Love the cup sleeves. Does the sleeves fit any size to-go cups?
Hi Denise,
We made these sleeves for 16oz to go cups, they should fit 24oz and 12oz as well!
Love this, very clever
Thank you 🙂
LOVE the cup sleeves! Where does one buy “good quality wool felt” for this project?
Thanks, Zoe…….Portland
We normally get ours from either Felt on the Fly or Benzie Designs on Etsy.
