Tools & Materials

  • Scissors
  • Low-Temp Hot Glue Gun
  • Paint Brush
  • Pencil
  • Leather – light green, light pink
  • Pink Paint
  • Blunt-Ended Toothpick
  • Polyfill
  • Small Rocks

Steps

  1. Gather the tools and materials listed above.
  2. Cut out your leather according to the pattern using scissors or the Cricut Maker.
  3. Sew the edges of the cactus leaving the bottom of each piece open.
  4. Use the end of a pencil to push polyfill through the opening.
  5. Sew the small cactus piece onto the larger piece.
  6. Stick a toothpick in the bottom of cactus, then glue closed.
  7. Paint the top cactus piece pink (or use pink leather).
  8. Gather and glue the small flower piece to top of cactus.
  9. Place small rocks into a small pot, then insert your cactus into the pot.
