We have another stylish yet simple plant hanger design to share with you. Using four basic knots and any color macrame cord that suits your fancy, you can have this Macramé Wall Plant Hanger up and ready to go in no time.
This beginner-friendly project may look daunting, but once you get the basic rhythm of the knots down — you’ll be a pro before you know it. Before you get started, take a look at our 15 Macramé Knots For Beginners.
Just Hangin’ Around
We love the cool, modern look of this macramé plant hanger. The 1″ wooden beads and natural wood ring give this project a minimalist feel with some playful detail in the weaving. We chose a cool gray-blue for our cording, but a neutral shade like white or tan would look really lovely as well.
While most of the plant hangers we design here in the studio are meant to be suspended, this particular model is meant to hang on a wall. We wanted to offer a little versatility in the sizing, so we styled ours using a 4″ pot. However, this hanger can hold a pot up to 6″.
No green thumb? No worries! We have a number of plants on our site that would pair perfectly with this macramé hanger. Try this paper string of pearls or any of our other trailing plants for some low-maintenance decor.
We’d love to see your plants at home in their new macramé hanger! Share your creation with us in our crafters community or with the hashtag #MadeWithLia on Instagram.
