Receiving thank-you cards any time you give a gift or show up for someone always feels good. But did you know it feels just as good to write them? Research shows that expressing gratitude through a handwritten note can actually make you feel happier. So to bring you — and your kiddos — more joy, we have designed these super cute mermaid thank-you cards.
All you have to do is print them off onto white card stock, trim to size, and fold them in half. Then write your message of thanks and send them out! It is never too early (or too late!) to instill this practice of gratitude in your kiddos. Bigger kids can write a sentence or two while little ones can draw a picture or color inside the card.
Thanks for Swimming By!
If your kiddos are writing in their mermaid thank-you cards and need some guidance, you can simply have them say thanks for the specific gift they got from that person and why they like it. Or, you can write a note of thanks and have your kids personalize it with their own artwork. Either way, the person receiving the thank-you card will appreciate the gesture!
Although thank-you cards are probably the last thing on your to-do list, we still have a couple more mermaid party ideas for you. Come back tomorrow for cute party favors. And then on Tuesday, we’ll post a printable mermaid crown. Because every birthday kid needs a crown!
When you’re ready to send these mermaid thank-you cards out, simply download and trim the PDF below. Members can download and print as many thank-you cards as they’d like!
Just like our mermaid party invitations, these printable thank-you cards fit an A7 envelope. The two colors we like best for these cards are PaperPapers Stardream Metallic A7 Rose Quartz and Stardream Metallic A7 Lagoon, but you can also use a plain white envelope.
