How cute is this mini wreath? I made this holly and mistletoe paper wreath in just a few hours using a few of the images from the new Cricut 3-D Floral Home Decor cartridge. You can buy these cut files individually in the Cricut Design Space and for this wreath I used the holly leaves with berries, the mistletoe with the smallest berries and pine needles. I cut all of these out with metallic papers in Lime Satin, Ice Silver, Jupiter and Botanic all from my favorite source, paper-papers.com. If I haven’t said it before, these metallic papers are my favorite to cut with the Cricut Explore. Because they are quite dense, I cut them on the light card stock setting and the precision is so good, I can make paper eyelashes if I wanted to. I made this wreath with an 8 inch form and before attaching the paper greenery and berries, wrapped it with a metallic burlap ribbon. This ribbon gave enough rustic chic that I left the sides and back uncovered to add interest. The mini wreath is a perfect add on touch anywhere in your house and can be used to circle a candle on your table as well. For this festive Design Space project, just click here. Even if you don’t have a Cricut Explore, I hope this inspires you to make some pretty paper wreaths for the holidays. Cheers! ~ Lia

Hello where is the Holly svg??
This project specifically is available in Design Space, but you can check out a similar option on our site: https://liagriffith.com/make-a-paper-christmas-wreath/
Only a few years late, but I hope this comment goes through anyway! Is there a physical cartridge that these designs are available on. The digital file route simply isn’t an option for my old lady Expression, but I love these patterns. Am I two years too late to purchase this as an actual cartridge?
(I have your Four Seasons Cartridge and LOVE it! My fall wreath is awesome!)
This was a project we made for Cricut but you can use my elements from the Four Seasons cartridge to create a very similar wreath. I actually like mine better anyway and hopefully you will too. 😉 Here is another similar wreath I made from the same design parts that are on that cartridge. https://liagriffith.com/make-a-paper-christmas-wreath/
Hi Lia,
I don’t know how I ended up on your site, but I am thrilled I did. In fact after three days of admiring all of your projects, I purchased a membership. I have been paper crafting my whole life (I am 63) and your site is the first one that old “must create” feeling.
I don’t have an electronic cutter and am hoping that you can draw out a simple template for this project so that I can put these old fingers to work while hubby watches t.v.
Thank you for your generosity in sharing your talent with us. Big hugs.
Danielle
Welcome Danielle, I’m thrilled you found us! This particular project was a partnership with Cricut so the pattern is available only through their site, BUT I created a very similar one that has a PDF pattern. I hope this works for you! https://liagriffith.com/make-a-paper-christmas-wreath/
Is there any way to buy the individual cut files for Cricut Craft Room. I’ve got a Cricut Expression 2 and can’t use Design Space for it. I can’t figure it out but I’m dying to make this wreath!
Unfortunately I don’t know how to convert SVGs to CCR files 🙁 You could contact Cricut customer service and they may be able to help you!
dying to make this wreath. just wondering what file or image you used for the pine needles? Can’t find them anywhere… and is there any way to cut the files on a silhouette?
Hi Lindsay, you can find the pine needles here. https://liagriffith.com/make-a-paper-christmas-wreath/ Enjoy!
Love your blog, and the wreath is gorgeous. I’m going to attempt to make it today. Thanks for all the inspiration.
You are a sweet heart! Thank you, hope you love your new wreath!
I love it! You’re so cleaver, thank you for sharing.
It was a fun one to make!
I have a Cricut expression 2. Can this design be used on that machine? I’m having trouble transferring it after I’ve purchased the design.
Yes. These are from the new Christmas 3D cartridge and should work with all of the Cricut machines.
I just love this wreath. I’m going to try to make it this weekend. Although I’m going to do the white village first :-). I’ve saved the project in my Design Space, but I was wondering how many times you printed each color? Thanks again for all your beautiful designs!!
Make sure and share your finished project photos! As far as quantity, I would have to count out how many and it depends on how large your wreath form is.
Beautiful wreath Lia!
Thanks;-)
Just asking…is it a secure site to give your Credit Card? And can i purcase if i live in Italy? It seems there isn’t an option for in “select country” 🙂
Thanks a lot.
Hi Vale. Thanks for your message. I actually don’t work for Cricut, but they are a legit company. I would suggest reaching out to them directly. Please note this project only works with a Cricut machine so if you have another brand machine their products will not work with it.
I have just discovered your blog. Your work is gorgeous, Lia. Thank you for share it 😀
Welcome!!:)
this is beautiful. compliments 🙂
Thank you:)
[…] Metallic Paper Holly and Mistletoe Wreath – 1 freebie(s)? […]
Magnifique!!!
Merci:)
Lia, are there any instructions as to the number of each to cut out? I am subscribed to Cricut Design Space, so it was a “make it now” project. It said to follow the directions on the cartridge, but because I got it digitally, it had no directions. I can place the items, but do you have an idea of how many you cut?
Thanks for these beautiful projects.
I would have to go back and count how many I glued of each. What I usually do is cut a full page and use what looks good. For this wreath I didn’t add any to the sides so you can see all of the pieces when looking at the photo. Does that help at all?
