The only wall in my open concept dining room showcases the gorgeous papercut woodland wall art that we designed for our new Cricut home decor cartridge. These layered white-on-white papercut designs look like high-end art but were simple (cut with a Cricut) and affordable to create since we designed them to fit in white Ikea frames.
I love using the open shelf unit for displaying some of my favorite found, gifted and handmade items – it’s like my own little museum. I expect that I will change up this display now and again to keep the room feeling fresh and interesting. The prints to the right of the display unit are by a favorite artist of mine, Sanna Annuka – I’m so glad to finally get them framed and up on my wall, they are just gorgeous.
The chair next to the credenza received a 5 minute make-over with a can of spray paint and some new fabric. The pillows on the bench seat are an eclectic mix. Both the coral polka dot fabric on the recovered chair seat and the navy and coral floral print are Lia Griffith fabrics and you can find details of how you can order below. The chandelier was a handmade piece using a old length of wood and vintage inspired light fittings. You can see my video tutorial for the industrial chandelier here.
This updated space is perfect for entertaining my friends and family and of course for those all important planning meetings with my team! I’m just in love with the new look and hope you are feeling inspired to freshen up a space in your home by making a few small changes or additions. For all of the furniture and detail links, see the end of the post. Enjoy! ~ Lia

Hi Lia,
Do you happen to recall what the paint color & brand are of the paint used on the wall behind the blue credenza with the wildlife prints above? Your ideas are so inspiring!
It’s Sherwin Williams Oyster Bay! They may have changed the name though 🙂
I was thinking of refurnishing my red hardwood floors to a darker color, but your post is making me change my mind! Love your taste! May I ask where the hanging planters are from?
The hanging planters are from West Elm:-)
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much!
Your home is absolutely lovely, am enchanted with your style. Boy do I wish I could buy a Cricut Air in teal.
I looked quite carefully at your wonderful chotsckes, anything in your rooms shown. Will print them out for future references. I have a notebook I keep photos of rooms I would like to emulate if not all at least few particular ideas. I remember when you showed the chandelier you made, still love it. No place to hang one in our home but I can admire it in photos at least. We have a ceiling fan with light kit in our living room, ceiling fan pretty necessary where we live as it gets quite hot. especially in mid afternoon. Back of house faces due west so we get some strong rays beating on back during summer months, phew. Can hardly stand to be in my sewing room in summer as it’s a small room, gets pretty darned toasty, (too full of too much stuff).
I was happy to see you have coral and aqua maybe some grey? My l/r is painted a very light gray, almost a white and at certain times of day it’s almost a light lavender. Have included different shades of aqua and little bit of coral. Those colors just keep my happy all year. We painted beginning of last summer after waiting over 8 yrs. til I finally decided what colors to use. Found some great gray background curtains on clearance at TJMaxx only second time had been in there since it opened. There is a pretty white design on curtains, as soon as I found them I knew what I’d paint the room. Color is also extended into kitchen and will run thru into mudroom since there’s one common wall that runs thru home. We have a single wide (16x 80) so had to figure out how to make rooms blend to one another. The rooms were so dark before with plastic patterned paper on walls that was not my choice at all, have to work with what came with house.
I so appreciate that you share so much of your talents and time, I might not copy exactly but do use parts of ideas I know I’ll enjoy living with.
Enjoy a lovely Mother’s day, hope it’s great weather there for you. Happy weekend
I love a light grey color on the walls and so pretty when it changes color depending on the light. It sounds exactly like the color I saw at a friends house last summer, it turned lavender in the evening sun. Such a fresh and pretty color. Your house sounds lovely, isn’t it fun how just a different color on the wall can change the entire home! And aqua and coral are two of my favorite colors.
Lia,
I love the design of your blue and coral pillow case. I could not find that one for purchase at Spoonflower, though “/

I see you changed colors again. Those plant hangers are great, where are they from?
I love them, they are from West Elm. The pots I purchased at a garden store and gold foiled.
Lia, I absolutely love, love, love your designs and your palette! Your work is so elegant–just exquisite! My husband is an artist, and I’m a retired elementary music teacher and a wildlife rehabilitator specializing in squirrels, so I appreciate both your artistic sensibility and your affinity for nature! Because I live w/ animals, my home will never be as lovely and elegant as yours, but I can DREAM! Thank you for sharing your
talents so generously!
Trust me, I clean before the photo shoots;-) I have a cat and a dog. Luckily he doens’t shed too much, have you seen that I have white sofas:-)
Love the new cartridge, it IS available on the shopping for Cricut cartridges now. The 3D Owl, Fox, Deer and Bird cut files are particularly beautiful – as are the rest of the images! I will be purchasing this cartridge but hope that all of the images shown in Design Space are all included in the Four Seasons Home Decor cartridge? Your style is beautifully sophisticated!
Thanks!
they should be, I hope we are talking about the same ones. http://us.cricut.com/shopping/detail-department-Four-Seasons-Home-Decor-0-12942.aspx
omg………..gorgeous…what are the colors on the walls…love them….we both have coral and blue in our homes….love it Lia
You must have a lovely home!
I love your designs on the Four Seasons Cricut Cartridge. I just bought the Cricut Express Air expressly to be able to use your designs. You’ve inspired me to finish the decorating of my home now and not keep it as an item on my “bucket list”!
Where can I get this new cartridge? Is it possible to get the designs digitally rather than on a physical cartridge?
I think you can buy the cartridge digitally at http://shrsl.com/?~8ll0
