Paper Cut Valentine’s Advent Calendar
A Self-Care Advent-ture
Ready for a Valentine’s Day project that’s all heart and smiles? This year, we wanted to try a new twist on an old favorite with this Paper Cut Valentine’s Advent Calendar. A whimsical departure from Christmas countdown traditions, this advent calendar holds a world of love for your kiddos to explore as they make their way toward Valentine’s Day.
Though the design for this intermediate project is pretty simple, there are quite a few pieces to cut out and keep track of. So, we highly recommend a cutting machine along with a little patience. But trust us, the end result is totally worth the effort.

This sweet Paper Cut Valentine’s Advent Calendar is a nod to tradition, but with a dash of our signature creative flair. Born in 19th-century Germany, the classic advent calendar has evolved into a festive tradition that spreads joy and builds anticipation. So today, we’re giving it a heartfelt twist to celebrate the season of love.
Our Valentine’s Advent Calendar is tailor-made for the little Cupids in your life. Shaped like a Paper Dollhouse, each window and door boasts a numbered flap (1-14), revealing heartwarming self-care prompts that will make the countdown to Valentine’s Day extra special.
To bring this project to life, we constructed our house of love in pretty shades of pink and purple. However, this Paper Valentine Calendar is meant to represent your kiddo, so choose the colors that will make them smile! Of course you’re welcome to fill your calendar with our suggested self-care prompts, but feel free to come up with your own for a truly unique advent adventure.
Once complete, we would love to see your spin on this delightful project! Share your Valentine’s Day Advent Calendar journey on Instagram with the hashtag #MadeWithLia, or join our crafters’ community to spread the love even further.

This is so cute. It looks like it could be folded into thirds for mailing in a protective envelope. Would you agree?
I think you could with some solid scoring! Let us know how it goes. 🙂
