Paper Lantern for Fall Decor
Fall decor is up on my list of favorites. Bringing those earthy tones and textures into my home, along with a carefully chosen pop of color, is the perfect way to welcome in the shorter days and cooler weather. Our DIY paper lanterns are perfect for adding to your Fall decor this year. They are really simple to make using vellum paper and metallic gold paper. All you will need is our pattern below, a laser printer (the ink may smear if using an ink printer) and a craft knife and 3″ hole punch or cutting machine. We have both the SVG cut file for the outer lantern and the PDF printable for the vellum design and the gold shell if you want to cut them by hand. Pop a flickering LED candle inside, line a few up along your harvest table, Fall mantle or along your windowsill and those long evenings suddenly won’t feel so dark!

Hi Lia (and team), hope all well in Portland, how’s your Fall going? More and more awesome projects to make. When will we sleep, lol.
Went to JoAnn’s today looking for text weight metallic papers to make the mums but none to be found. Ah well, did find however your incredible Cricut for $229.99, can you imagine that price? Wish could say I bought it but the continuing accessory costs more than i know i can handle too often. Good thing I enjoy cutting huh?
Maybe someday, give me something to hope and dream for.
Was wondering are the projects that have the star on upper left hand corner the ones related to the subscription?
Well it’s awfully late so time for shower and bed. Have lots I want/need to do. Happy days
Yes, all of the projects marked with a star requires a membership to download the pattern:-)
