Cut the pattern below from black metallic cardstock paper on your cutting machine. Our paper village folds perfectly so that it can stand on your mantel, shelf, or dining table. Of course, if you don’t have a cutting machine, we don’t want you to miss out! So we are not only sharing the SVG cut file but the PDF template for this paper village as well. Simply print the PDF and use it to trace the pattern onto your black card. Use a white pencil or chalk to do this. You can then use a sharp craft knife to cut the pattern out.
Complete the Look!
For my mantel décor, I added a few sparkling foam balls and this wonderful wood tree that I found at Michaels to complete the look. You can also put small flickering LED lights behind your paper village for a dramatic effect when the lights are low.

Hi, love these villages…any chance of a thanksgiving pilgrim scene?
Thanks Suzette! We don’t really have a Thanksgiving version but we will be sharing a Christmas village!
Yay! Can’t wait, thanks!
Happy Halloween!
Is there anyway this can be adapted to the Cricut Air with my iPad? I’m new to this & would love to add this darling village to my Halloween decor this year!
You cannot upload the SVG on your iPad. But you could log into your Design Space account from a friends computer, upload it there and then you could use it from your iPad:-)
Thank you! I drug out our old computer & giving it a go. It’s a learning process…

I was in the process of decorating my mantel so this was perfect timing. Cricut just finished all the cutting, and it’s so cute. I have some very small pumpkins that I’m using with it. Thanks for a great project.

Lia, Your template links do not link to the village file. They link to the template button jpg.

This is so cute but when I click on the templates I’m just getting the pictures of the banners.
