How fun is this little paper village to make as part of your DIY Halloween decorations? This haunted house is perfect for your mantel, windowsill, or as a festive centerpiece. Download the SVG cut file if you have a cutting machine or print the PDF if you want to cut by hand. You can find more awesome DIY Halloween ideas here!
Cut the pattern below from black metallic cardstock paper on your cutting machine. Our paper village folds perfectly so that it can stand on your mantel, shelf, or dining table. Of course, if you don’t have a cutting machine, we don’t want you to miss out! So we are not only sharing the SVG cut file but the PDF template for this paper village as well. Simply print the PDF and use it to trace the pattern onto your black card. Use a white pencil or chalk to do this. You can then use a sharp craft knife to cut the pattern out.
Complete the Look!
For my mantel décor, I added a few sparkling foam balls and this wonderful wood tree that I found at Michaels to complete the look. You can also put small flickering LED lights behind your paper village for a dramatic effect when the lights are low.
