If you are using the SVG version, start by picking out your papers. Our favorite place to get text weight metallic paper is Paper-Papers.com. We used rich greens like Botanic and pretty metallics like Copper and Pure Gold. Choose your favorite Christmas colors and start making your gift card holders and tags! The file comes with a papercut envelope that you can attach to the tags, which becomes the gift card holder. We got a bit creative with our tags and layered the papers on top of the envelope for a two-toned look. We recommend using a glue dot roller or double stick tape to attach the layers.
If you are using the PDF version instead, print these Christmas gift card holders onto 8.5 x 11 cardstock. Trim them to size, and then use a small hole punch to make a hole at the top of the tag. Then, you can slip some pretty ribbon or twine through the hole to attach the gift card hold to your gift or your Christmas tree. How does one use the cut files?
Hi Julie, the files are to be used with a cutting machine (I use a Cricut 🙂 )
Love the tags, thank you. Have a blessed holiday.
