Do you give Easter gifts in addition to Easter baskets? If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I love to wrap gifts! So with Easter coming up, we decided to create these Easter egg animal gift tags and gift wrap for you to print and cut at home.
While we designed this gift wrap idea for Easter, it would also be perfect to use for a baby shower gift or a kid’s birthday. And if you want to personalize it even further, you could even write a little note on the gift tag.
Put a bow on it
One easy way to make your gifts stand out is to tie the perfect bow. But really these gifts aren’t complete without these cute little animal tags! If they look familiar to you, they’re the same design we used for our painted Easter egg animals. They were too cute not to replicate for another DIY craft!
When you’re ready to make your own Easter egg animal gift tags and gift wrap, just gather the tools and materials listed here. We have included both the SVG file and the PDF template for the gift tags below. There’s also a PDF for the gift wrap.

Materials
- Cardstock Paper — PaperPapers Speckletone Kraft, Shine Sand, Curious Skin Stone, Stardream Metallic Rose Quartz, Curious Skin Grey, Curious Metallic Ice Silver, and Stardream Metallic Onyx
- Tabloid Text Weight Paper — White
- Adhesive Dot Roller
- Ribbon or Twine
Instructions
For the gift tags: Use PDF to cut by hand or SVG to cut in layers (use an adhesive dot roller or glue stick to tack top layers together). Cut the black layer on text weight paper. Lastly, write a note on the blank egg shape for your loved one!
For the gift wrap: Print gift wrap on 11″x17″ text weight paper.
