Papercut Ocean Reef Artwork
We may have a touch of summer fever over here, but we just can’t help ourselves! Something about the hot weather and lazy days gets our creative wheels turning. Since we’re currently in peak beach season, we wanted to design a beginner-friendly craft that calls to mind the beauty of the ocean. With this super easy Papercut Ocean Reef Artwork project — we’ve done just that!
Due to the detailed design of this project, we highly recommend using a cutting machine to speed things along. However, you can cut out all your pieces by hand with a cutting knife as well.

So Coral-Adorable
If you’re familiar with our papercut artwork projects, then you know they’re a breeze to put together. This piece showcases a glimpse into the exotic world of coral and sea life. We layered our cardstock in monochromatic blues arranged from dark to light with contrasting shades of white and cream. The added fish details and manta ray silhouette really make this scene pop, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the way it turned out.
If blue isn’t your style, you can easily tailor this project to coordinate with your home decor colors. We think this design would look especially pretty in pastels like sea green or coral. Show us the color of your ocean on our crafters page or use the hashtag #MadeWithLia on Instagram.
Tip: you can flip canvas textured paper to the backside if you prefer a smoother finish.
