Become a MemberEarlier this week my friend Lisa over at Handcrafted Parties tossed me an idea. She knows that I am one of those. . . the gluten-free, dairy-free, trying for Paleo types, so was spot on that I would appreciate this project. For all of your upcoming parties, dinners and cookie trays you plan this season, here is an easy way to mark your creations for the food sensitive guests. And you can do it in style! There are two pages to this printable that you can download below. One the trendy chalkboard and the other in kraft. I promise the shape is quite easy to trim once you print onto card stock. Happy party planning! ~ Lia

what lovely (and useful!) labels! I linked back to them on my blog today. Happy Friday!
Happy Friday! and thank you!!
Just found these while looking at your farm party on your site….such a fabulous and simple idea. Thanks for sharing….I cannot wait to use these!
Great that you can use them!!
Good morning, hope you had a nice Valentine’s Day! I agree with Lisa about the coconut crust lemon tart, they look yummy. I’d also love the recipe if you have had time to find it.
Thanks. Thanks for all the ideas and free printables too. I think I borrowed almost everything and have already laminated and filed them in Projects to do NOW. GREAT, now I will have to get healthy and fit to live another five years to do all of them; since hubby (of fifty years, thank you!) says I need to live to at least 100 to complete all my projects, and that was before last November when I started cardmaking. (A really super idea LOL). I especially like the bows because i can’t tie a bow any more than i can tango.
I will put that on my list of recipes to share in the next month for sure!!
Thanks Lucia! I have a post on pantry labels that I also offer the blank version in my Etsy shop. Here is the post: https://liagriffith.com/printable-vintage-chalkboard-pantry-labels/
I used these labels for my studio organizing labels too. You can see them in that post.
Whenever I am planning a party, I always ask on invite to please say if there is any food related issues to be aware of. Typically I just spread the food out in sections..never thought of using tags! It would of saved the one time a guest bit into something, a friend had been nice and brought a side over….this would of saved the meal.
Thanks!

I know, right? I usually just make an announcement, but then got smart and started using these. Too simple. 🙂
Lia, these are so appropriate for us, my husband is diabetic, and I am gluten-free. We often go to family do’s, and I land up not being able to eat anything, especially desserts, unless I take something I have made. I also have to go around asking what the ingredients are in the dish. So, thank you.
Yes, I feel your pain! It seems that my diet gets more restrictive as I get older too.
What a great and thoughtful idea! In this day and age when most everyone is health conscious and have a lot of allergies these tags save the day. Your guests will love you.
Can you identify the Paleo Friendly dessert? It looks luscious!
It is a coconut crust lemon tart. I will see if I can find a recipe someplace. I bought these.
Hi Lia! Love these tags and they will come in handy for the holiday! I do have a request for you… have you ever made any tags for dog treats? I need a cute chalkboard tag for my “treat jar” and I need one for a bag topper or something that I can tie on or staple to a little 3″ wide treat bags for doggie treats for the holidays. If you create any, please let me know! I love all of your tags so much!
Wow, that is a great idea. Let me see if I can squeeze that in. Are you thinking holiday looking or just general. The pantry labels would be great for the general, non holiday label.
Hi Lia, Either or! Surprise me! Thanks for the help! 🙂
I am a dog lover too so this is a GREAT idea! 🙂
Thank you so much for making these for me and sharing them with everyone! Like I mentioned in my post, I’m planning to laminate a set of each and attach them to plastic cake pop sticks (they come in all colors, including GOLD, on Etsy!) so I can reuse them. They’d also make a great stocking stuffer or hostess gift–I’m making a set for our Thanksgiving hostess.
Lisa 🙂
That is a great idea Lisa! I was thinking after I shot these how they would be perfect all year round too, so reusable is the way to go.
Hi…the tags are beautiful. Can I ask what font you used? Thanks….
Thanks. It is Carolyna Pro Black, one of my faves.
