How to Create a Holiday Gift Basket 

There are a few reasons why we love the idea of a holiday gift basket. You can pick up everything you need for it in one stop exclusively at Safeway. And it works for anyone on your list!

You can create a holiday gift basket to wow a family member or friend, thank someone—like a teacher, helpful neighbor, or dinner host­—or surprise your coworker during secret Santa. Also, shopping at your local stores is a great way to support your community. I personally love the Safeway store near me because everyone there is always so friendly and quick to help.

Since Portland is a coffee town, we knew our holiday gift basket needed to include some high-quality coffee options. Portland is also known as the best foodie city—and we care about where our food comes from. Since this is a holiday basket and we are a team of creatives, we had to top off our gift basket with a paper poinsettia. The paper we used is actually a cocktail napkin! If the person receiving your gift would appreciate a crafty challenge, it might be fun to add a few cocktail napkins along with the instructions for how to craft the poinsettia.
