Summer BBQs for Dads and Grads

Is it a coincidence that Father’s Day falls smack dab in the middle of barbecue season? We think not! Because Father’s Day is always on a Sunday, it is a great opportunity to do some grilling. If you are hosting an outdoor gathering for the occasion, get a guest list together and customize our printable BBQ invitations to send out to your VIPs. Every piece of text on the invitation is editable except for the “you’re invited to a” line at the top, so these printables work well for any summer BBQ – whether it’s a graduation barbecue, birthday barbecue or Fourth of July barbecue.

Editing the Invitations

These invitations come in a monochromatic blue color palette with cute little barbecue illustrations by Laurel Autumn. To edit the text, you will need to download and install the free fonts HVD Bodedo and Aleo. Use Bodedo for title of the event, date and time, then use Aleo for all the other details. When you’re finished editing, print onto white cardstock and trim. They are A7 size, so you can find a nice selection of coordinating envelopes at your local stationery store or online at Paper-Papers.

Of course we also had to make some matching envelope liners to go with these printable BBQ invitations. Pick your favorite of the two designs and print onto regular copy paper. Glue it inside the envelope and they are ready to pop in the mail!
