Recycle Bin Labels for Parties and Everyday

Yesterday I unveiled our new water, tea and coffee station at the back of the home office between the kitchen and the back deck. Part of the redesign was to organize our recycling and trash to work harder for us. These stackable containers from Ikea make a great recycle bin and are perfect for small space organization.
In addition to our indoor stations we designed a set of labels for our upcoming outdoor parties and events. This trash station with the pretty green labels will make it easy for our guests to find the right bin and super easy for us when it comes to clean up. For these bins we found the biodegradable Clean Cubes that make party cleanup a breeze.
We designed all of these labels to fit onto full sheet label paper from our friends at World Label which makes labeling your trash super easy. It is Earth Day tomorrow, April 22nd, so there is no better time to think about how we dispose of all the trash that we create in everyday life. By flattening your trash and sorting into types you are going a long way to lessen the negative impact trash has on our natural environment. By composting your food waste as well you should find that your landfill trash can is barely used! And while we are doing our bit for the planet, why not make it pretty too? Over on the World Label blog we have shared the PDF’s for each of these signs both in the teal and coral color ways for the indoor labels and the bright green outdoor labels. I have also supplied the design on a white background with the text in both the teal, coral and lime – so you have plenty of options! Simply download and print onto World Labels full sheet labels. For the indoor labels we created rounded corners using a corner cutter but it’s an easy look to achieve with scissors too. Top your stack of recycling bins with a couple of plants and a favorite ornament and your trash never looked so darn good. Enjoy! ~ Lia

I love these! Where is the cute blue tray from?
Thank you! The tray is from West Elm (a few years ago, not sure they have that color anymore).
When I click the link for the labels sheets, it asks for options on which sheets to order, ie….color, gloss, etc. Which did you use? I’m assuming you used white paper and a color printer…????
We ordered standard white matte for inkjet 🙂
I cannot find the recycle labels. Every time I click on the blog address it takes me to other labels but not the recycle ones. Can you help? Thank you so much. I really appreciate the labels that you have given to us.
Hi Debbie, the PDFs are hosted on World Label’s site– download them at the bottom of this post: http://blog.worldlabel.com/2015/recycle-labels-for-your-home-office-recyling-center.html 🙂

Thank you for your sweet comment!
Lia — Where did you get the stacking recycle bins? They are clean, tidy and just beautiful. They will fit perfectly in a small spot in my kitchen. And, with you labels, it will be so cute!
They fit perfectly in that corner. There is a link to all resources in this post. Happy shopping! https://liagriffith.com/home-tour-office-coffee-and-water-station/
These are so great and timely. Any way you could add an editable version? I would be so happy! Our recycling categories are different here.
Ohh.. we didn’t realize that. Unfortunately the font we used isn’t free so we would have to change the entire design if we were to make it editable. Sorry!
