Not every home has a chimney for Santa Claus to climb down on Christmas Eve. But no need to freak out! We have the perfect solution – Santa’s Magic Key! This printable template allows you to create a magic key for Santa so that he can allow himself and his helpful elves in to make their special delivery. We print and cut our key template out on pretty rose gold glitter card stock (shop this project below!). As well as the two key designs, this download also comes with a tag reading “Santa’s Magic Key” and a little text to keep the magic alive! Print these tags onto white card stock, punch a hole in the top and tie it to the key with a length of candy striped twine – perfect!
If you have a cutting machine, you can click on the SVG file below to print and cut these designs. If you will be cutting by hand then you can click on the PDF. Print the key pattern on to printer paper first, then cut it out and use that as a template to draw around on the back side of your glitter paper before cutting it out. The tags can be printed straight onto white card then trimmed with scissors. Hang Santa’s magic key on the front door knob and your kiddos will sleep soundly knowing that Santa will be paying a visit! Enjoy! ~ Lia

I love these Lia! I don’t see the tags in the SVG format though. Any chance you can add them so I can use them in a print, then cut with my Cricut? Thanks!

now that’s really using all your thinking caps, you are all so awesome. so many times have heard kids with that concern since family had moved, for little ones no chimney is of world concern.
i missed so much all last week, so many incredible projects, my fingers are fairly itching to make something. did manage to cut out two sheets of scandinavian animal tags. used silver marker on tags where little holes were to be cut out, did all that last sunday night, had hard time getting to sleep.
finished cutting out yesterday. have hard time just sitting,what can be said?DUH, LOL

I love this! We recently moved and no longer have a fireplace. My four-year old kept asking how Santa would deliver the presents without a fireplace and now we have a solution. I can’t wait to share it with him!!!
