Become a MemberSeed packets are such a charming wedding favor, especially for rustic themed weddings. Weddings symbolize new beginnings and shared growth between two people. Seed packets are a beautiful way to embody this blossoming and growth, making them perfect for wedding favors! We designed these adorable editable seed packet envelopes to give you some stress-free favor inspiration for your big day.
Start by ordering your seeds. We found a great variety pack of vegetable seeds on Amazon that was so affordable! Find the link to our seeds in the Shop this Project section below if you are interested. Once you choose your seeds, you can prepare the envelopes. There are two options of envelopes for your wedding favors, one in a charcoal grey and one in a kraft color. Both read “Let Love Grow” with a gorgeous floral line illustration. To customize the envelopes, you will need to download and install the free font Lemon Milk. Edit the names and date to match your specific event, or use these envelopes as escort cards! To create your own escort cards, simply write the name of the specific guest(s), followed by the corresponding table number. Once your envelopes are customized, print them onto regular printer paper. Cut them out, fold the side and bottom flaps inward, then cover the back by folding the large polka dot piece. Use glue (we used a glue dot roller) to secure the polka dot backing, then fold down the polka dot semi-circle flap to complete the envelope. Stick your seed packets into the envelopes and they are ready for gifting!
Feel free to get creative with the presentation of your wedding favors to match your special day. We found mini terra cotta pots at our local craft store, and then added copper foiling to the base of the pot with mod podge glue. So easy! You can also use acrylic paint to match your color scheme, or use chalkboard paint to write special messages on your pots. You will find that we also have gift tags included in the download if you would rather use those instead of the envelopes for your wedding favors. Edit these tags using the same Lemon Milk font mentioned above. Tie your wedding favors together with some twine and top it off with a pretty bow. You can place one at each table setting, or set up your own wedding favor table for your guests to pick them up at the end of the night! If you are looking for some extra wedding flair, you can even place these beautiful wedding table signs on your favors table.

I was very diappointed that there is no cut file for the seed packet. I can’t see me cutting these by HAND for all my guest.
Hi Sandy! We are not a cutting-machine exclusive site, so not every project will have a cut file.
Hello,
Does this require any sort of cutting machine e.g. cricut? I am a novice and only have basic tools!
Nope! The seed packets are a PDF printable that you can cut out by hand. There is a cut file for the leaves but we included a PDF for those who want to hand cut 🙂
These are beautiful. In the description above, however, it says there are also customizable gift tags available in the download. I only see the seed packets. Is there another file I missed?
Thank you for catching that! The PDF is now available to download 🙂
How did you get the font to be white?
The design is white on top of kraft, so it prints looking like white ink, but it’s actually not 🙂
What kind of paper do you use for these? Just regular colored paper or something special?
I printed on regular text weight paper for these!
Thank you these are perfect for an evening dinner party for Married Couples that I’m involved with – great timing.
Yay that’s great to hear! Enjoy 🙂
These are lovely — how did you make that green band around the pot?
Thanks Marie! They’re from our Earth Day project (https://liagriffith.com/seed-packet-earth-day-craft/), but I just added the downloads to this post! 🙂
