Yes, I had success when I cut them out manually. However. when I use my Cricket two it doesn’t cut the pattern/paper properly. . Do you know of any trick?
Can you tell me what is happening with Cricut. I looked at the file and it seems to match.
The blade won’t cut the paper properly. It snags the crepe paper, making some of the items unusable.
Ok, I see. This template is not made for crepe paper. This is for a cardstock or a text weight paper. If you use crepe paper, the petals will not stretch (or cut) properly as they are each at a different angle. The crepe of the paper needs to align with the top and the bottom of each petal.
I see you have downloaded a few different crepe paper flowers, so I am sure you are familiar with crepe. You also have access to the crepe paper flower master class which is really fun and gives you so many tips and tricks. Hi Lia, have you used crepe paper to do this flower?
Hi Vivian. This template would not be the best for crepe paper since the grain of the paper is straight and the template is spiral. Which means the grainlines would not match the base and tip of each flower. Have you worked with crepe paper for a while? I think a version of this but designed for crepe paper would be very cute!
Lia, I love all of your designs, but some files are too large for my cutting machine so they are reduced in size makiing them too small. Is there a way around this? I have tried re sizing them in Canvas workspace but that did not work . If you have any ideas please advise Thankss for any help, Rosella
Hi Marie! Unfortunately we’re not familiar with the Canvas Workspace software and why it would be resizing the artwork. I would reach out to Brother’s customer service for help, since you should be able to use SVG files.
I have just become a member and I have been having a ball. I made that simple rose and it is gorgeous. Sent it to my daughter and granddaughter. I cannot wait to get into to all of your flowers. It is so wonderful to make something so very pretty on your first try. I am on permanent vacation! I am 73 years old and a widowed retired nurse. It just blows up my skirt to do these. Thank you for making these available to your fans and include me in that number. Marcia
