Here at Lia Griffith, we firmly believe there’s never a bad time for a good tote. With summer now upon us, a tote bag is a great way to haul around that beach read you’ve been meaning to get to or have on hand for a quick run to the store. While what’s on the inside certainly counts, it’s the outside of this adorable strawberry tote bag that’s sure to turn heads as you go about your sweet summer business.
Sweetest Tote in the Patch
Heat transfer vinyl is a fabulous and easy way to add your own personal touch to a plain bag in need of a little fun. We designed this whimsical strawberry tote bag with the essence of summer in mind. The bright pink and red strawberries and charming floral touches make this bag the perfect accessory for the season — just in time for National Berries Month this July.
This beginner-friendly craft includes six strawberry shapes and a few cute strawberry blooms for you to cut out of HTV. We always recommend using a cutting machine for our heat-transfer vinyl projects, but scissors will also work. You can choose to make a strawberry tote as we did or add this design to anything else you’d like. The strawberries and flowers are designed to fit perfectly on our canvas bag; before ironing them into place, just print out the PDF template to use as a guide when arranging.
We’d love to see your finished results! Be sure to share a photo with us in our crafters community or on Instagram with the hashtag #MadeWithLia.
